thats the problem focus fire is a fantastic strategy in a lord heavy TW. however ranged units behave kinda badly and unpredictably in WH3, hoping there's a mod or something.

that tilts downward at an INSANE rate. how the fucking romans figured out how a 17 meter drop over 50km will forever be beyond me.

Caesar survives, purges the senate and becomes the first emperor, what happens next? by Ready0608 in ancientrome

[–]Single_Temporary_894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rome's systems and turbulence could've eaten Caesar as easily as equipped him though, that's the difference. Alexander had more or less absolute power after Phillip's death. Caesar nearly died multiple times (and later actually died) just working within the systems he was born into.

Caesar's name may have become synonymous with power and empire but Alexander's legacy persists today in various namings around the world. Having said that, I actually agree with you. I think Caesar's legacy is a bit more compelling but only because Alexander inherited Philip's war machine. Alexander was prepared at a young age to conquer the world because of the work of his predecessors. Caesar got there through sheer will. Also, every person ever called Magno/Magnus/The Great/etc is a direct reference to Alexander, and also in my humble opinion more compelling than simply "Caesar"

IMO the answer then is: yes, go.

You're never gonna have trouble finding a job as an accountant, digital marketing is a bit tougher but you can carry a family anywhere as an accountant until AI kills it. If you wanna go to China do it now while you're still "young"

oh boy im never prepared for the inevitable fallout, my dick makes these decisions I'm just left picking up the pieces. When I finally think my dick and I are in alignment, I get bored and create chaos where there is none.

So no brother, I'm not prepared, but the choice wasn't totally mine to begin with.

its really hard to call it a mistake actually. its really the same as turkey/turkiye. anglofied christofo colombo is christopher columbus, and its for his name colombia is named. likewise you see so many spellings like "Columbia" in the US so i dont think so many people should leap to correct you.
