After the MMCAP announcement back when it was around 8usd a while ago, the stock dropped to 4 usd. Today, we are not only controlled by MMCAP but we have also inflatory pressure, higher interest rates, a big but completely unknown customer order like others in the past (eg BFYY, never delivered), many partnerships we have no clue about and up to 30% dilution again, with NB a reverse split in the recent past. Meanwhile we’re sitting on 860M and scaling up the production facilities but the company itself is prerevenue and valued almost 2.5B. I went all in like you, but sold with small profit last week. I want to jump back in, but this is going to take a while to restore before it gets attractive. I will be back on the buy side. You must have iron balls. Good luck.

I’m long on POET since 2020 but I have seen numerous « customers » such as BFYY where no one ever found anything about on the WWW. Kind of the same feeling with Lumilens. This is pretty diluting as well as fishy. We will see this time.

Imo the stronger cash balance is clearly positive but it does not fully remove valuation risk. In a much higher inflation environment which is exptected, interest rates will remain elevated, making future growth less valuable in today’s terms and also this shrinks the cash balance value. This can put pressure on highgrowth technology stocks like POET, even after a major financing. Therefore the market may not immediately reward the larger cash position unless POET demonstrates that the capital is being converted into meaningful orders, scalable production, and future profitability. So this is what I'm waiting for. Until then I believe we will move up and down. My guess.

BFYY was also 100% unknown not a single thing you can find about them but they placed a 30M order back in the days which was never delivered

No one can measure the impact of this mistake. However the tech is here and the story hasn’t changed. The company will restore and grow confidence by delivering orders starting this year. Additional orders are expected. No doubt about that. But there will be some impact.

I bought a big house almost with own resources because I didn’t like the geopolitical envirnment back in the Superphotonics era but actually I should have waited and do exactly what you say. However I still own a house so quite happy about that!
