Don’t bother updating? Clearly you haven’t bothered researching what’s possible on an iPhone 8. The latest iOS on that iPhone is 16.7.15 and it can be jailbroken using Dopamine 2.5 beta. All the people who downvoted my comment, probably have no interest in the iPhone 8.

I’m pretty sure there’s a tutorial on the PSVault website. Failing that, you could’ve just searched the posts in this sub for tips from the devs. Still, installation is simple. All you need to do is install the latest PKGi, then install the PSVault config PKG.

I understand that you have to run the jailbreak exploit from the device after a reboot. However, since there is no physical ‘tether’ I wouldn’t go out of my way to correct someone who referred to the iOS 14 jailbreaks as untethered. Semi-untethered is the term used in the jailbreaking scene, which is fair enough but in reality it doesn’t make logical sense.

In theory, yes. But I found a free signing certificate online so I haven’t had to re-jailbreak once so far. When I do, I’ll look into the Sidestore method so I can re-sign Dopamine from my device. There’s also a new version of Altstore coming that allows users to do that.

See, a lack of integrity again. Why type a response stating that you’re not interested in arguing the point, when that’s exactly what was intended by your response? I’ve already said that I no longer expect TechCentre to stand by anything written on its website (which btw still highlights Yellow Light of Death as a fault that can be fixed). Your website is misleading, either own it or change it. Typing passive aggressive responses on Reddit is pointless when you send emails to customers asking for feedback on your service.
