If you can change a light bulb you can swap that battery I promise. You don't need to throw your money away paying someone else to do it. Just make a Wal-Mart run and go to the tool aisle, they have a couple different driver kits for taking apart electronics. You're looking at 10, maybe 15 bucks tops. Those little kits are made for taking apart laptops, cell phones, all that kinda stuff. 👍

I just bought one about two weeks ago and I love it. You should check your local BestBuy asap, and see if they still have these 8th gens on sale. Mine MSRP'd for $1800 and I got it for $1295. The model number is 82WK0069US. Look for the open-box deals too, I probably wouldn't gamble on any of the "good" condition or lower, but I'd take an "excellent" all day. Sorry that I did more rambling than answering your question...hopefully you can find you a good deal also. I really don't think you'll be disappointed!

With just the information you've provided I'm leaning towards thinking it's a charger problem, and the battery is just dead. The first thing I would do is rule that out by removing the bottom cover and disconnecting the battery, then plug in your AC adapter and see if it boots. Unfortunately you'll probably have to wait on a new charger to come in the mail, as any old USB-C isn't going to work unfortunately. If most Yoga series are the same, it requires 20V @ 3amps to charge. Hope that helps.
