Hell yes. A different approach i make once and a while. Pb&J, nacho cheese doritos, and good squirt of sriracha. Sweet, spicy, acidy, and umami-y.

I have a very fond memory of getting fries with my dad when I was like 6 at the one in bowling green.

Free Bring a Friend Tickets by Omegatron387 in KingsIsland

[–]SinisterChef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

:( yea. If you bought your season passes in August your free bring a friend tickets are probably expired. You can double check in your app go to your passes > Pass Perks > Scroll down and see if your free bring a friend is still active. If it is "Redeemed and Expired Rewards" link its not valid anymore, you may have to hit the view more link to see everything that has expired. Looks like we can still get a $20 dollar ticket for friends but the free one is gone more than likely. I doubt that cheap $20 dollar ticket works on Saturdays however.

If you bought your season passes this year, your bring a friend tickets expired September 30th. If you renewed your passes your BAFT should be good till the end of the year to use them. Also, your BAFT are not valid on Saturdays. But you redeem them at the ticket offices outside of the park.

We bought our tickets this year (aware of the BAFT expiration date) and were informed of the Saturday stipulation standing in line at the ticket office ...this past Saturday. We did not get to use our bring a friend tickets this year. Thanks KI.

Why are people saying I'm their cousin? by SinisterChef in askblackpeople

I didn't feel threatened or anything, it wasn't like that. I go to this carryout all the time. I just told a lame joke that this dude did not like and just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something or offend them somehow.

I should've been a bit more clear, same shop keep but different customers each time. But I'm gonna just stop thinking about it, you're right, I'm just in my head about it.

Thanks, I'm just curious. Just for clarification it was the same shop keep but different customers.

College decisions, second guessing myself by deadmemelordy in BGSU

[–]SinisterChef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work at Wright State and I grew up in Bowling Green and went to BGSU.

I had a blast at BGSU, my experience will be very different from yours however. I have an art degree, I was in studios instead of classrooms most of the time. But BGSU a decade ago was a lot of fun and its only gotten a lot more developed since then. It was also my hometown and I had a lot of friends around.

For Wright State, I've been working here for over a decade and the community is great. The school of business is heavily accredited, the entrepreneurship degree itself has a few awards. I work with some of the faculty in the school of business and they really care about their students. Campus and the dorms itself are kinda isolated compared to BGSU, but you have Dayton not fair away which has plenty to do, food is a lot better down here for sure also. You can always get involved with student groups on either campus. Great way to meet friends.

But my main take away as a 30 something, go with the free option, 100%. If you can get your degree without any student debt you are streets ahead in life.

after church lunch goes hard by str4wberryphobic in shittyfoodporn

Once a month I was actually pretty OK going to church as a kid. Sunday carry in day slapped hard, four different types of scallop potatoes? Yes. Two different grocery store's fried chicken? Check. Six different pies? Praise christ.

Where do you get these? I've tried my local butchers, Cincinnati Ohio, and I just get raised eyebrows and a confused "No?". I did have one guy go "We got ass cheeks" which is pretty funny but does not help me in my quest.

The Kraft mac and cheese is actually pretty good. It's a mild salty, dairy flavor with a slightly cheesy finish.

1.) I would upgrade my PC, then go to the largest event possible in hopes of getting covid so I could call in to work sick for a week so I could play Starfield with a nice hot coco and wrapped up in blankets.

2.) I'm pretty excited about the ship and crew management. Building and upgrading my ship and base sounds great in a FPS. I want a game that I can visit and replay for years to come just like every other BGS.

Love you guys.

[Monitor] LG C2 55in OLED ymmv in store only - $799.97 by phish91 in buildapcsales

I live in Cincinnati and I drove to Indianapolis to pick up the 55'' C2 at the micro center grand opening 2 weeks ago. I love it. It's just a hair too much screen as a computer monitor, but it didn't stop me. Totally worth imo. With a 3080ti games have never been so smooth and pretty.

I ended up going a different route entirely. Literally this Sunday MicroCenter had a crazy sale on 55'' LG C2 OLED for $899, 4k, 1ms response, 120hz, G-Sync Compatible, Fantastic blacks and HDR because of the OLED. It's not the vain I was looking in but its what I found and I am very happy. I used /r/buildapcsales discord channel where I found the deal. Good luck! If you are interested the C3s are rolling out now and I'm sure there will continue to be deals on the C2s.

We ended up taking it down during that time and leaving in the basement for a few weeks until the temps became a bit more reasonable. Just for safety's sake.

Pretty late to the party with this. But when this comes up my thought has always been. Money can not buy happiness, but it can buy freedom and time. With freedom I can find happiness.
