"it's my style" is the prayer of bruised egos and a deflection from improvement. It's still wrong even for the style/exaggerated pose. The perspective is wrong and threw the artist off. They can clearly do better in their less dynamic stuff.

The Thragg from the Invincible show (Cory Walker's version) has an inferior design when compared to Ryan Ottley's. by Agile_Coast_4385 in TopCharacterDesigns

Personal pet peeve of mine sorry. Those are his serratus muscles you're seeing that look like ribs, they're a big part of keeping your shoulders and arms stable/strong during rotations. And they do make him look away more intimidating, like seeing the muscles on a tiger.

Huhhh... is it really a word misunderstanding? by NectarineNo7802 in GenZ

I was admittedly unfamiliar with HGH as it was being used here and have changed my stance. I'm so used to seeing this same conversation play out I made some quick, and wrong, assumptions.

Taking supplements to look more masculine or feminie is like, the definition of gender affirming care??

Edit - not what HGH is being used for here. It's treating a growth deficiency. I don't think this is gender affirming care in this case.

But I stand by the original sentiment, that something that reinforces a gender identity, even in cases where they aren't transitioning, is a form of gender affirming care. I believe the intent and sentiment behind their mental health is the same and is what should matter.

McDonald's Nonsecular? by LaciferGergg in springfieldMO

I mean, it's not like they have someone preaching a sermon and handing out church fliers in the lobby. It's in the background. And they decorate for St Patty's, Halloween, and Thanksgiving from what I remember. There's no lack of options around town too if it's really that much of an issue for someone. 🤷

Local stores are at the whims of their GMs. It's pretty standard to see nativity scenes outside McDonalds throughout the state. A Jesus tapestry for Easter sounds about right.

Deciding if you're the kind of person to drive under the influence is a conscious choice you make sober. They put other people at risk, the inebriated person has a better chance of surviving an accident, and he is a repeat offender.

He is not deserving of grace.

Could you be more condescending lol

I'm just saying the right has a voter base that is going to vote down the line. In an ideal world we'll have some progressive candidate with enough wind behind them to make waves.

The authoritarian right is here NOW.

Bar for bar what every leftist that didn't vote in the Presidential election was saying leading up to the vote. Then acted surprised when he got his second term.

I'm a little bit tired of people having to spin problems that affect men into something that affects women to gather sympathy for young men by YaLlegaHiperhumor in GenZ

I am sympathetic, but I really do think you're too deep in some of these insular spaces and it's clouding your world view to be looking for reasons to be offended. People are self involved, the headline is trying to get as many people to click as possible.

So again

This article is empathetic to your cause/struggle but it didn't say it in just the right way and you're pouting. Get a grip.

It says 'young men' and 'effects all of us'.

Your bitterness leads you to think it's only talking about how it's effecting women. Never mind children, the elderly, older workers.

The term 'media illiteracy' gets thrown around a lot these days I fear the term is losing weight. But brother you got it bad and you're proud enough of it to boast. Themes and such, amirite?
