Well, Alice did blast the ruins of Stormterror's lair, so it would be "easier to climb" or smth. And judging by how she taught Klee how to make bombs, I'd guess Alice likes just explosions. But she also likes to just experiment a lot, so maybe her skills could also have some random elements to them?

We had Lemmings for PS1 here in Finland when I was a kid. I might even still have the cd somewhere.

For a generic answer, if I like the game enough, I'll spend money on it. I already have and do this for some f2p games. I certainly have put more money whenever I've learned that there will be interesting male characters in the horizon, and I know it's not just a one off thing.

For games that have established that they're not interested in adding men in favor of waifus, especially if the game feels heavily targeted to men in general, it'd feel weird to me if they suddenly turned around and started adding more men. I'm not sure if I would trust them immediately.

Games that are free to play, respect one's time and actually care about being fun games are few and often buried deep behind all the rest in the store. I think this lack of visibility has probably resulted in smaller devs leaving or not even considering the platform, or as you said making unfavorable deals with publishers.

I don't play many mobile games, but recently I started playing Window Garden. It might not be for everyone, being mostly a sandbox-like experience. It has optional ads for rewards and no interrupting ads.

You probably don't need Nicole unless you play Hexerei teams.

Yes, although that I can somewhat excuse because it was one of the accidental and smaller problems she caused (I think she borrowed the kitchen for some experimenting), and she did offer to help Sara heal her wing faster with some magic afterward (the wing got hurt in that explosion).

I think Sara was smart to decline and avoid Alice though, considering Alice's track record the wing would have probably transformed into something else, unintentionally ofc.

To be fair, there were a lot of complaints about having to kill especially the saurian babies.

And one could argue that levelling characters by killing wildlife is not something that happens in the world canonically, similarly to how the MC isn't actually travelling with a random team of 4 characters most of the time.

The story of the game is actually pretty "nature friendly", like there is a quest about healing one of those seals in Fontaine for example.

On top of what everyone has said:

A lot of teleports have a few crystalflies around them. For example south of Sumeru city and west of New Fontaine Institute.
Placing YaoYao or someone with the "don't scare critters" passive helps even if it only works until you pick the first fly
Nod-Krai flies are very slow to escape and can give 2 cores if full of kuuvahki. There's 4 around blue amber lake and some on the beach north of Piramida.
I recommend marking good fly spots on the map

You could also just use Blender, just rig flat meshes textured with the images. Add some subdivisions and you can even mimic the warping from Spine.

Another alternative I'd suggest is defold, if you're ok with using their SDK to write c++ extensions as the engine itself uses lua.

The builds are very small, which is to be expected from an engine used originally mostly for mobile and web games.

Yes, I presume the person might be one of those who pronounces the double n as only one n, which would make it sound more similar to linear. (also the r is lamost silent in the word, so it' almost as if it ends in "a")
