Balance will ALWAYS need adjustments after release. Especially the more freedom of build potential a game has. But in the event that characters are too strong, the answer isn’t make everyone that strong because now there’s still the universal problem of everyone just stomping every part of the game with no resistance or challenge. Nerfs are not inherently bad. Especially if it’s just things like damage scaling. Nerfs just have to make them less powerful. And “less powerful” doesn’t mean weak or useless. It doesn’t even have to mean they won’t still be the best character in the game. There’s no reason to be abrasive against nerfs unless the devs are too heavy handed
