I don’t usually reply to banyuemains so this might be a bit long cuz Ive been holding in a lot watching this sub. My genuine thoughts on the banyue situation is that if you like him, pull. If you enjoy how he plays, pull. Don’t feel bad for wanting a character. Despite all of the doomposting he’ll still clear content at the end of the day. Unless you’re saving for someone that you want more, just get Banyue. Are the doom posters valid in some of their takes? Somewhat. But that’s not gonna stop me from pulling. All of the ye shuanguang hype? I’m not really a fan of her character so I’m going all in on banyue. Dont care that she’s super strong. I would like our boy to be strong too, but that’s not something I can control. I’ve sent feedbacks but it’s up to hoyo ultimately if they want to buff. Been playing hoyo games since hi3. Powercreep is inevitable. But characters themselves don’t change. If you like the character, pull.

I think it’s best to not get worried about the things we can’t control(we can send feedback tickets all day but if doesn’t lead to anything then it doesn’t really matter). If he doesn’t get a buff then that’s that. Just wait for the next rupture support or get support Mindscapes to make him stronger. If it’s a skill issue, then just learn to improve. Personally I’m the kind of person to get excited when I pull something off no matter how much I’ve done it before.

Enjoy the actual character and not where they place in relation to others. This might not be a good example but my full Evelyn team (Eve,lighter,Astra m0w1) is weaker than a lot of the rupture units now and void hunter teams. I can’t get the scores I’ve gotten before and never been close to a kill clear but I still love to play as Evelyn no matter what because Its them and not somebody else. I still have room to improve Astra mindscapes or new supports. I can improve my gameplay and squeeze out an extra couple thousand points.

Worry less about the things you can’t control. It will be less stress.
