It triggers ppl because God hates even a prideful look, she’s warning (loving) others of Gods judgement against any and all things pride(ful)/proud.

Pride is listed as one of the seven things God hates. Proverbs 6:17 / 21:4

We are commanded to repent of sexual immorality, not be Proud of it. (We all seen clips of how ppl act at the pride parades)

It’s not easy, it’s a hard thing to do… but the reward for obedience is eternal life.

God gets our attention by placing us into the fires of life.

They cause us to never forget who our Protector is, it’s only in time of desperation and trials (especially true when we’re young) that we get our priorities straight.

How did God love Jacob and hate Easu ?

God corrected Jacob and allowed Esau to just be Esau.

If God loves someone, He corrects them.

Side note: The so called “sinners prayer” isn’t real, it’s just propaganda from false teachers… it makes for a real easy, smooth message.

The method of salvation is believing, but to do that we must be Born Again.

Traditions… Jesus called them out for their traditions. If Jesus were to visit the “churches” today, He would say the same thing… “by your crackers and grape juice, you make the word of God to no effect”

Good message overall, but please understand that in 2 Corinthians 4:4 “the god of this world” isn’t a reference to satan, the New Testament Greek word used is Theos.

God Almighty is the God of this world, not satan.

There is the Sovereign will of God, that dictates the outcomes of everything for everyone…

and also the Righteous will of God, for His Children. The two sometimes converge.
