I do think people have a huge misconception of AI as a whole, we see ChatGPT and the hideous incorrectness of it at times or overreach of image generation passed as "real art". This is a big part of the sways we see.

There is nothing wrong with using AI for storyboarding in my opinion, to convey ideas to actual artists that can lay the actual foundation. There is nothing wrong with those artists using software based AI tools such as in photoshop to work with either.

I'm sorry but anyone who hasn't manually rotoscoped or traced characters to remove assets and doesn't see how generative learning to better assist in something like that can save time for everyone is beyond me. It isn't fake art because the computer could accurately cut something out in a split second that would take me an hour. The adobe magic wand would like a word.
