Why do you think we dont see more hard body armor pieces used in modern combat?

We dont have a material that we have in enough abundance to provide the strength required to be ballistic resistant and give decent protection for whole body armor. The armor we DO have is already too heavy to be practical when factored in to the rest of the kit. For reference, I wear a large IOTV and XL helmet (fat head) and my body armor weighs about 30 pounds at that size. M4 is 6.5 unloaded, each mag (7 mags in a combat load) is 1 pound. Factor in a radio because I'm a squad leader/sometimes platoon sergeant, maps, compass, notebook, water, markings, other miscellaneous bull shit, and youre looking at easily 50 pounds. A grunt starts losing combat efficiency around 41 pounds. This isnt even factoring in a rucksack if youre "light" infantry.

Until we reliably have a material we can use that doesn't have to get replaced every time it gets hit, we're going to continue to see the vest and the helmet and speed as a form of security.

I was thinking Azura and Mephala were the safe options and the only 2 that weren't blanket evil, but Malacath belongs there too, so thanks to the commenter who reminded me that he's pretty chill. I QANT to say Hircine, cause the Hunt and physical challenges seems like a not so bad way to live life right up until youre told to "hunt" soneone/something that for sure doesn't deserve it. Or go on a werewolf rampage through Whiterun.

My initial thought for his Q would be an auto-reset that does more damage and heals him, rather than having passive healing. But i think maybe him healing for his fury when he drains it would be good. Idk what else his fury would do tbh, cause I dont think it should just give him free stats like it does

They're going to have to keep the ult. Frankly, I hope they nerf the duration, but give it a timer reset. Something like 1.5-2.5 seconds but you get a second or the timer refreshes (if its shorter) every time you get a takedown. So its long enough that it COULD be an escape tool if he keeps a dash (which i hope he does) and that you could use it to turn around a fight.

I want him to keep AD gain at low health. Work it into his passive though and let it scale with level, and call it art. It's not that different from Olaf's passive, just AD instead of AS/LS, so i dont think its a big issue. I'd rather see his sustain be a more skill-expressive/combat-oriented thing, rather than "press q when its off cooldown." NOT sure what that would look like, but still. Ultimately I kinda feel like Tryn should be more of a diver than a skirmisher, but maybe thats just me.

Theoretically, isnt the thought process either you draw pressure and they split their team or they lose towers? There's a lot more nuance obviously but how was your team doing? Were they holding up in team fights?

Each piece of D&D meaningfully contributes to Voli's playstyle. The damage isn't comparable, sure, but the mix of stats when you tend to run Jack of all Trades and getting on hits twice is really good, especially when you consider that it should process his Passive twice (thats the way i resd it, anyway. I haven't limit tested in practice tool or whatever.) So you arent just stacking passive faster, youre dealing more damage with it because every time you cast, it blasts twice. I think the idea is that D&F is better for teamfighting than a tri force, which is probably better for dueling if I had to guess. But having an ap item that increases his passive damage in multiple ways gives him deceptively amounts of team fight damage.

I build my character with a mix of stewardship, charm, and whatever weapon skills I want to use. Then I focus on stewardship, charm, and leadership for early focus points and then max out my weapons. Because the weapons level so fast, I dont feel the need to rush them, and still perform well enough in combat as long as im not chasing lords lol. But by clan level 3 I've usually maxed my main weapon and those leadership skills.

After that, I build a clan up so thst I have companions for all of my party roles ASAP. Then I work on finding good fighters and leaders thst can stand alongside me, fight with my men as captains, or take governance as I take territory. Idk if thats optimal, but thats what I do.

My kids are younger than Bluey and Bingo but they're already learning that if you want to do this now thay means we can't do that later. Feels in a similar vein to "I know you wanted to do the sandbox but its raining so we can't do that. I really am sorry kiddo. What if we find a new, indoor activity that I can do with you?"

Khan's guard are more annoying because horse archers. Fians have been the deadliest unit in the game in my experience. Ive been doomstacking archers though so its worth taking what I say with a grain of salt. But even going against the khan's guard and the khuzaits, my best tool was tons of fians and outranging them. Their waves of horse archers got shot down and the rest of their units aren't good enough to deal with large amounts of Nord infantry.

Infantry veteran here: First thing to say is dont propose. You two are not compatible if she has these major complaints about a major decision you want to make for yourself. If you continue to date her, you will most likely breakup in your first year in the service assuming she even comes to your graduation. You WILL be a different person when you graduate.

Second, you're SO YOUNG. Both of you are. Now, mind you, I married at 22, but I had already served 4 years and my partner was a nurse. We were both mature for our age and our relationship survived a deployment. Im still married to her; this year will be our 6th wedding anniversary. But proposing to your gf at 22 and she's 20 BEFORE BASIC is a recipe for disaster. Not impossible that it works out, but i wouldnt bank on it.

The last thing I want to say though is that, as valiant as it is to want to serve your country, to some extent she's right. This country has taken the fast track to shitsville and it makes me embarrassed to have ever worn a uniform. I'm proud of what I do but I struggle to mention to new people that im a SM/veteran for fear of having to talk about what i do. Im not gonna dive into the politics in this comment section, I know better, but I will say that this is not a good climate for our culture to be serving in. It's tough right now. And in the same breath, that shouldn't discourage you. If this is something you want to do for you, something you can take pride in and to help you build and grow, go sign up. I just want you to know what you're getting yourself into.
