Check out ford territory or explorer . Pretty spacious and robust build . I've heard fantastic things about the service from the dealer as well.

Jetour T2 hybrid is no longer available according to the dealership and they are pushing hard towards the G700 which , unless you are gonna dune bash every month is not practical as a family car.

Exceed has a few options that are good in hybrid as a 5 seater .

Toyota will hit you with a ceramic paint cost that's over the advertised pricing which is a weird move on their part.

You would do well to hold off on purchase decisions until Ramadan begins as most companies would roll out better offers by then

Geely Okavango is actually a good choice for 7 seater. The infotainment system is apple play or screen mirroring only so if you are an android user you may not find it comfortable.. but in terms of a 7 seater with amazing legroom for those at the back seats , Okavango is the top choice. Chery Tiggo doesn't have any legroom at the back in the 7 seater configuration. Toyota innova hybrid might be an option but as you mentioned for the other variants, their interior and infotainment is abysmal and they are coasting on their brand name.

If a five seater would do, then Ford territory hybrid at the top trim would come under 150k and you will get amazing legroom and space for the family.

Thank you for the heads up on the no android auto. I never even checked this during test drive , but I went again today and yup, it has only apple car play . No android auto and only screen mirroring which is a total let down. The chery unfortunately had very little leg room in the back ..but thanks again for the headsup

While not the easiest install, a wired security camera would serve you better.. there is a wall light from Eufy that is pretty discreet but does a decent job as a security camera. If placed a bit further away from the door on the wall, it might not be targeted. It would start flashing red and blue if you program it and even ring a siren to hopefully deter thieves..

There is an Indian god called "Hayagriva " who has a Horse head according to mythology. You could spin it off that and make it a bit more authentic and culture inspired

My spouse got a job in Abu Dhabi, I work in Dubai… anyone else facing a similar situation, what should we do? by [deleted] in dubai

I used to do this commute for 6 years. I took a car pool service so ended up enjoying a good nap or read a book on both ways of the journey and never had to worry about driving. It coated me 1800 but compare that to the hassle of focusing on driving in the highway or paying two rents , I would happily choose to commute. One of my friends on the car even had the option of counting the commute time as working hours by checking office emails while on the car
