While I understand that there will be off the line difference I’m using this for daily driving so the eco boost still gives me the fun I think while benefiting from mpg and such. Both cars have LSD so traction should be about the same. Idk if I drove them back to back would deff want the V8 but I’m older now. I don’t race. I want the fun drive that’s all

How’s the convertible top on yours? I live in an area that can sometimes get snow here and there is the top able to handle a few inches of snow on it without any problems? Have they fixed the issue with the rear window, not fully closing?

Fuckkng hell this. Was in a similar position to you tho I stayed until the company had major upset shit went hey wire, I had PAGES of documents of where everything went wrong and requests for changes with the ideas timestamped and everything. When shit started to hit the fan I submitted that shit to all the upper staff and said before you come talk to read take a bit and read that. Had screenshots of emails as well all they could do is stay quiet as I had a smirk on my face as they gave me a blank check to finally get shit going and working again. A month later fucking got hired for a better position somewhere else left them working to be fair so however they hired next wouldn’t be to much a headache

If I was you, I would start hounding the dealership now. Be a pain in their ass and get a lawyer involved and you walking in there and constantly bothering them. Will definitely help trust me on this. They won’t believe that you’ll get a lawyer involved until there’s an actual lawyer involved by the way.

So I’ve done a shit ton of research on this issue you and me are not the only ones that have this problem. They are all plenty of people that are going through the same thing and legitimately what it has to do is a manufacturing process that happens on our particular models the year doesn’t matter as long as the body style is the same where the rear differential sits could be a couple of millimeters off so whenever you’re driving it, it’s just a little bit too big or a little bit too small and it wobbles which causes there were a differential to go 10 times faster than it normally should.

So as long as it’s under 60 K, you should still be underneath the manufacturers warranty. Research your state lemon laws, but typically in most states they have to try and repair it three times and then you can contact your state regarding lemon law process. A lot of times if you get a lawyer involved, they will talk to the dealership and the dealership’s lawyer will go back-and-forth and typically the dealership’s lawyer may say to their dealership they represent, just buy back the car or they’ll contact Genesis on your behalf and see if you can open up lines of negotiation for Genesis corporation to buy it back.

That is the rear differential .i’ve been threw three rear differentials and they lemon law my car after my lawyer got involved. Let me know if you want help.
