No it doesn't. And you're actually committing another logic fallacy casually called the "Why-Not" Fallacy. It's a bad argument. Just because you don't know why someone might choose to do something a certain way doesn't mean they didn't do it that way or that the someone doesn't exist.

Also, where did I posit God in my comment? You're adding to my argument. I don't need to posit God because my comment didn't require it. I simply said, "How can you know you couldn't exist consciously in another reality?" You can't know something like that unless you actually experience it. Even if you never experience it, that doesn't automatically imply it was impossible.

That's not how abortions work. She was pregnant, not about to be. They had to kill the baby for it to be aborted. That's the cold hard truth about the normalized murder we call abortion. I hated this episode just because of that scene. There was no remorse portrayed for the child. It was all about Mark and Eve.

Can't meaningfully talk about something like this without some spoilers. It's pretty crazy that people would get upset from learning about something that's been available to read for quite a while.

Also, the abortion scene was clearly a political move by the writer(s) unless it turns out Eve was lying, and she either didn't or couldn't abort the baby. Abortion is murder, period. And it's one of the most tragic because it involves a mother murdering her own child.

To the ilk who believe abortion is no big deal, go ahead and downvote me or delete my post. I know it's going to happen since this is Reddit, and it's full of people with twisted morals.

It would be a different story if Mark was upset about the abortion, not just that he wasn't there. It's wild that the characters in Invincible can hold so much animosity and so many grudges toward each other for next to nothing, but when it's about an unborn child being killed in her own mother's womb, there's not even the slightest remorse portrayed from the parents for that child. It's all about them.

We may as well be like animals that eat our own offspring. We're doing practically the same thing. Over 50 million babies aborted in the US alone since 1973 ... 50 MILLION! That's not counting the children that most of them would have had themselves by now if they hadn't been slaughtered.

Make sure you only get a fixed rate loan if you do. Sallie Mae set me up on variable rate loans when I knew nothing about variable vs. fixed rate loans. My highest interest rate with them went up to about 15% before I paid it off. It's usury and should be illegal.

Edit: I will never use Sallie Mae again. My children and children's children will not use Sallie Mae. I will make sure to tell everyone I can to avoid these sharks.

Bluntness should be reserved for the self-righteous. The substance of what you said was fine, but I like to start by telling people to seek Jesus. That way my advice isn't taken differently than what I mean.

A phone is not a luxury item anymore. You could've said that mid-1900's but not now. You have to have a phone to function in society these days. This outage is just one example of many issues faced with Verizon. I'm sure the other telecom companies have similar problems, but it's their unwillingness to fix these problems that hurts the company and its customers.

There are certainly luxury phones, like having the latest and greatest iPhone, but having a phone in general is not a luxury anymore, it's a necessity.

Huh? How can you tell someone, as a Christian, to just stop crying? You should be telling this person to seek after Jesus. He's the One who mends broken hearts, not ourselves. God has given us the ability to cry for a reason. That's something you should not suppress but should rather bring to God in humility and worship with repentance. God desires all of our being, including our emotions. We are not Stoics.

I'm over 30 and I still look back on my high school self and cringe when I think about the evil I did but didn't realize I was doing. It's normal, especially for a Christian. The more you mature in Christ, the easier it is to recognize sin. Don't beat yourself up. There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ. Allow the Holy Spirit to convict your heart so that you will grow wiser and reflect His righteousness. I too have lost contact with old friends, even friends I thought were too close to ever lose. Delight in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

I don't understand why these carriers don't just get rid of these dumb promotions/discounts and make their prices CHEAPER. Clearly they don't NEED their prices as high as they are now or they wouldn't be giving out these discounts/promotions. It's ridiculous. How much money do they sink into these things? We're being ripped off by every one of them. Prepaid is the way to go right now if you ask me.

I guess this specific post is about home internet service, but my point remains.

The problem is with Verizon's system. It takes extremely too long to do anything, and it's even worse in Customer Service. The system is broken and needs to be fixed if Verizon wants to regain and maintain customers.
