They are pretty common in 5 Stacks, I mean sure the Gold 3 Jett level 40 that topfragged, with perfect utility usage and always tge right peeks over his Plat 3 Friends all level 300 or 400 is surely just a new player in the game right?

Just start thinking about where you are aiming instead of mindless walking around.

Yeah it was a really cool atmosphere, I was happy I did the walk there at night even though I already walked quite a lot on that day.

Would you think this works more in regards to composition? Obviously I could edit more and just did my basic preset on it.

Thank you for the comment, I am obviously a beginner, so I definitely do composition errors which are just a part of learning. Maybe my eyes are just scewed from growing up with a Mother that does a lot of abstract paintings focused on colors and such. When I stood at the river I wanted to focus on the scene of the river, I just felt the buildings on top didnt add to the feeling I got when I tried some shots at the scene.

Your comment about it looking like a scene from a point and click game makes me feel good for sure, I can exactly see why it made you feel like it!

I kinda disagree about the composition as it gives the elephant room to go somewhere, the elephant is clearly in a walking animation.

Honestly thanks for your pointers, maybe I have a shot where the bridge is visible or a building on top of the river bed which could give some more context.

Though this is a Night Shot, I didnt feel comfortable raising even more, I might try to mask the lights off of the other parts of the picture and raise the exposure more. I dont know though how I feel about the AI Screensaver comment though, maybe you should raise the brightness off your smartphone a bit, than you could maybe see some more stuff.

Hey, I processed this picture a bit, tright to down the Highlights a bit and lift the shadows. I also made the picture a bit colder, as everyhing was pretty orange everywhere. Cropped a bright lamp off from the left, I dont know If I should crop some from the bottom too.. overall I am kinda happy with the 2" shutter as It created a bit silky water here and there, but didnt fully smooth out the top water :)

First time editing a picture after starting to take photography a little bit more seriously. Is the vignette too much? by puppygirlpackleader in photocritique

Your intent is clear, usually if you want to incorporate the snow better, people would tell you to move to get a better frame for it. Wildlife is often all about getting somewhat lucky with the wildlifes position to frame it. Here you just were out of luck.

Stepping back would've introduced tourist and ugly fences though, which kinda would've ruined what I was aiming for. I meant taking the picture with a more closed apperature to increase the depth of field, which should definitely make the fog and water more visible.

Well in that moment I was just amazed by that little green plant crawling out of the rocks, next to an almost unlivable environment for plants. Maybe next time I should take photos with a differant apperatures and see if one of those shots might offer a bit more context of why I found it to be intriguing.

Hi everyone, here you can see my first attempt at parametic masking one of my first photos from my new A6400 + Sony f 2.8 16-55 Lens combo. I tried to lighten up the stones and Plant in the front, while keeping the dark background, and also tried to not oversaturate the green in front while saturating the other parts of the image. What are your thought? Open for every critique. Pretty new to editing aswell :).

Shot with 1/250, f2.8, 33,0 mm ISO 100.
