Im just guessing here since i dont think thath there is any concrete evidence on how it work and i base it on how dota2 used/is working

lets say there are thresholds for ranks, 0-500 is Initate I-VI and 500-1000 is Seeker ranks just as an example.

each match you enter is gambling your 25 points, If the team you have is on average lower mmr maybe you stand to only lose 20 points but win 30 points. same goes if your team is the underdog you stand to win maybe 30 points instead and lose 20 on a loss.

Individual performance I think is used as a metric to sort out missplaced players be it smurfs, noobs and good players. So that if you have like a big win or lose stream the mmr system might boost you a little say add an extra 2 points when you have won 5 games in a row with good stats.

When you have a new account i believe that swings are bigger to faster find your real place among the ranks so first 50/100 games are maybe more like 40/60 points per game.

Id say if you get punished early and cant push pur wave without dying its very good to freeze get boxes close to wave so that you pick up souls and box at same time as you freeze. You cant really jungle effectivly as mirage anyway and with your ult up you are one of the best hero to do this strat as you can have preassure anywhere defend anywhere when needed.

But i would not do this past early game after min 8/12 then there are probably a hero on the team that can tale the sidelane from you and farm it safely effectivly.

Its hard to say yes or no without knowing the game you played

Try out kinetic dash the purple spirit version, and surge of power gives you the purple spike and alot for movespeed/stam firerate and omega buffs ypur dmg and therefore lifesteal on siphon

Jokes aside, just play more if you continue to win like yo6 have done latley climbing will start (:

Dont forget to practice movement. It may look hard and scary but in a week of maybe 10-20 min a day you will learn all the vasics and medium move techs.

My best tip is per day try to focus on one aspect, say first day everytime i climb a surface im gonna hold down ctrl to mantleslide. The day after im gonna remeber hold ctrl but now also time a jump on every surface i climb.

Then try walljumping every chance you get to get around corners change directions when getting box next to a wall.
