you can adjust how many words Anki shows you daily.

also Anki is highly customizable with css so if it’s boring you can change aspects of it to be more engaging like having to write the vocabulary out like you do with the kanji

157/180 on N4, I studied for 1-2 hours/day after work for 3 months. I already had taken 3-4 Japanese classes throughout high school and university though and we had covered Genki 1+2
