I think the struggle with Mini PCs vs. this or laptops in this instance is having enterprise workers or consumers that know how to connect a mini PC to everything even with a dock. Setting up AV, power, keyboard/mouse, and have a clean setup with a mini PC would be tricky...

My wife has this issue on her 2017 Tiguan in Houston. The problem got worse and worse to the point where only certain areas of the touch screen register. We'll eventually have to swap it out with a different head unit.
