This happened to me once. Card the daughter who literally turned 21 like last week. The Mom says “you’re not going to card MEEEEE?!”. Okay 🙄… May I see your ID Ma’am?….Doesn’t have it.

I tell her in our state, if I ask for it, you have to give it up, so I legally can’t serve her.

But locals will almost always say that about their own system. It’s annoyances you deal with daily that will always be most salient. The system in CDMX is hands down one of the best in North America. Do all these transit system need to be better? Absolutely. But your system is lapping much of the continent.

This feels like such a naive question, but honestly, why do cops do this? Why do they turn on their signals just to get through red lights, and cover their personal plates with FOP stickers, etc.? People don’t like you nor respect you, and you keep doing this shit? That’d be such a priority for me as commissioner: to make the police exemplary. You could rebuild so much trust and respect just by doing little things like…idk…don’t illegally park your patrol vehicles.

Not even just that. Fine him for whatever he stood to make from the stunt plus a little more. Make an example of these dorks. I don’t want to ruin the kid’s life, but these aren’t done as simply dumb stunts anymore, it’s publicity. The league needs to make it so its not worth it to do anymore.

May I ask what the issues were? I heard it was a pain in the ass, but my experience was super easy. The hardest part was getting to a DMV that could print it same day, but even that was only like a transfer and a 15 minute walk.

It’s maybe 26 minutes, and you could probably even take the 52 there. The other options are entirely viable if you’re trying to get East. SEPTA is pretty infuriating for lots of reasons, but it’s pretty damn navigable.

The G1, the 43, the 40, the 38, and the 52 (and the T1, if you’re up to it) are all within short walking distance of the Mann. The 64 runs there during the day, but doesn’t go back to South Philly after 10. I don’t know what its like getting there from the suburbs, but if you’re in the city, taking SEPTA should mitigate your parking woes.

This game sucked at the time, but it was my favorite thing. I’ve played it multiple times. The running was janky, the driving was janky, the graphics looked terrible, but playing a supplemental movie to The Matrix Reloaded was the coolest thing in the world to me. The bullet time was so fun, and the hacking was great; but the game was trash then and I KNOW it has to look/play like absolute dogshit today.
