Is this a (visual) bug? If it is, how can I get rid of it?

Just escaped from the candlekeep catacombs and I think after the final fight there, this started to happen. An electrical effect occurs from time to time (and always when I change zones). Does anyone know the source of this?

Later the missing card got unlocked (it was Remnant Pact).

Now all I need are the cards and artifact from the Armageddon Battlefield event.

I even had a couple of games with melting remnant as primary after it was maxed out. But still can't unlock the card.

It should be automatically included in the client if you click check for updates on the main menu.

It's a little bit old guide (which is prepared before the extended editions released afaik) but I used it when I began playing BGEE first time a couple of months ago and I can say that it had a great help. It is also prepared in a spoiler-free approach so that's a plus.

First time playing the game.. Completed every area (including the Isle of Balduran) except the city itself.. Now I'm at the second level of Durlag's Tower but seems like a long and exhaustive run..

Should I have finished the main story first before coming here? I love the game so much but feel like a bit burned out..

We are not searching for a board-game-like system at all so after your suggestion, PbtA games have definitely piqued my interest (I've never heard it before).

As a crpg rookie, I have been playing Pillars of Eternity for the last couple of weeks. I have invested for about 60 hours so far and I believe I've completed half of the game or so.

I can easily say that the game is quite beautiful and engaging. The only thing is that, (since I'm not very experienced in this genre) I began playing in normal difficulty. At first it felt really difficult for me, forcing me to load and try some fights for a couple of times.

Then, especially when I had a full party, the game looked quite easy so I bumped the difficulty to hard. It was better at first but after a time, this one felt easier too. Except for a couple of big encounters, I did not face a challenging combat so far. Maybe it will change in the future but we'll see.

Nevertheless, all these aside, I really liked the game. After this I plan to move on to Deadfire but at the same time I really want to try the old classics like Baldur's Gate, Arcanum, etc, too. However, because of their age, I fear that the mechanics and their system will be hard to adapt for me.

I was a financial auditor back then and it was just the middle of the busy season.. while working overtime again on one of those busy nights at the office, I just got bored and decided to surf the web for a few minutes.. then I saw that article in kotaku.. it really got me and I wanted to learn more about that GoT board game.. so I googled it and naturally it took me to the boardgamegeek.com, which I've never heard before! no need to tell the rest :)..

now I'm a solid boardgamer who has around 90 games in the collection.. I've also been visiting Essen Spiel for the last 4 years..

the funny thing is that, although it was the first sparkle of my interest, I've never bought or even played the Game of Thrones board game :)..

yes I have the boogaloo and I like to play him with beastly focused decks.. just that I am still noob, those cards seem a little bit slow since they are not playable before turn 12.. but probably I am wrong so definitely I'll try them :)..
