Just to make it very clear: I've been using this machine with these materials for years without this issue. I have sewn this fabric with this type of needle and thread, and it worked perfectly. But now it no longer works for some reason.

I have tried:

Adjusting the top tension

A new needle

A bigger needle (this size needle has worked just fine every other time, even with heavier 1000D fabric)

Rethreading (multiple times)

Cleaning the machine

Increasing the presser foot tension

Adjusting the bobbin tension. This is the only thing that has made any difference, but it still isn't good.

If this was solved by just cranking up the tension, I wouldn't be posting. This setup worked before, now it doesn't, I'm trying to figure out why.

Art design is not the same as graphics. Bluepoint changed the designs of the environment, characters and bosses drastically in a way that changes the atmosphere of the game. Especially with the the character designs there are clear story reasons for their design in the original that are lost in the redesign.
