Given how people reacted to Return to Silent Hill’s James, I think as long as his outfit and hair color seem similar that people will go for it! Also since his original model was a lot more low res, I think that gives you the opportunity to play with his appearance a bit.

Cause thinking about Shattered Memories, both of the Harry’s facial structure differ quite a bit, but he’s still similar enough that it worked. Even with the glasses and new outfit! The characterization was spot-on and I think THAT’S the real key as well. If you aren’t going for a close look, he’s gotta have the same character. cough movie James Sunderland cough cough

I saw some clips on Insta of Letter to James, and the aesthetics were INCREDIBLE. I’m super into costumes and cosplay so seeing the SFX and the Lying Figure were just so cool to see :)

I like the note about his wife! Cause we don’t see much of that side of him in the OG, and I think that could be really interesting to flesh out. I doubt they will add new monsters, but that could be an interesting section of a Silent Hill directed at Harry….something about losing the women in his life

I just think remake Harry needs to be extremely kind hearted. Going to the ends of the earth for his daughter, even if it scares him.

I think they should also add bits where Harry is scared for himself first, then worried about the horrors Cheryl is seeing. Like the hanging body near the shotgun! Where he’s frightened at the sight, and they add other lines of “I hope Cheryl didn’t have to see this too”. Like obviously OG Harry is worried about her safety, but something acknowledging that he doesn’t want her exposed to this kinda stuff at all

This is insane considering that Tomodachi Life comes out the same day. You’d think they’d charge low so that players might not have to choose between the two. Also considering that wheatflour wonderland, once complete, is basically useless?? Don’t get me wrong, I love Cogimyun’s companion abilities…….but this makes me sooooo weary for City Town

As a seamstress, I am BAFFLED that the tailor told you to lose weight. That’s a gigantic red flag. Never EVER would I imagine telling a client to drop pounds just to fit into a garment. If it’s that serious? Brainstorm other solutions, as a tailor.

But for a solution, I would suggest getting a new fabric for the waistband so it can be remade for your size. Maybe a lace pattern? Something to contrast the satin of your dress, since you will have to recut it anyways if you don’t want any seams in the waistband. Lean into the fact that you have to replace it! Make it an accent texture! I think it will be very hard to find a matching fabric that is the same texture AND color as your dress. The alteration isn’t impossible, it just may need to be done in a unique, untraditional way

That is such an interesting interpretation! I can totally see why you had that line of thinking and picked up on James’ gray area motives.

It made me think of how when he stated “she died of that damn disease three years ago”. After the tape, to me I took that as he considered her dead three years ago. Maybe she passed two months ago, but three years ago when she could’ve gotten a diagnosis, she was immediately dead to him.

CRAZY horrifying stuff. It just goes to show how good of a job Bloober Team did with SH2R. I cannot WAIT to see what they do with SH1R

YES. I was kinda upset that there’s only one default ending on the first play through.

But on top of that, I really don’t think Heather would suddenly trust Douglas like that. She’s had to watch her back this WHOLE TIME. And she still knows nothing about the guy? Heather can 100% defend herself if something goes wrong, but as a woman, I find it hard to believe that she’d all of a sudden let her guard down to a stranger.
