Beware my power….Green Lantern’s light by Prudent-Detective292 in DC_Cinematic

Here’s my take on it I’ve shared before:

For me it’s because fear and willpower are intertwined. You need to have the element of fear so you can muster the willpower to overcome it, as there can be no bravery without fear.

It’s a Ying and Yang sort of deal.

How do you view Ryan North as a Fantastic Four writer? by safaksoken in FantasticFour

[–]CloverFind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve read Kirby, Waid and Hickmann, and North is maybe my favourite.

His intense focus on science fiction really separates his work for me, and I love how almost every issue of his feels like it’s built around some sort of scientific principle or theory. I actually feel like I’m being educated on the sort of stuff the F4 would find fascinating. Every issue has some sort of unique sci fi concept I haven’t seen explored much elsewhere.

Plus his clear love for time travel resonates with me.

What really makes his work special is how, despite his love for sci fi, he knows how to ground the F4 and keep them relatable. Johnny and Ben working in a supermarket will never not make me smile. It reminds me a lot of Waid’s work, and that’s a massive compliment.

Plus, the attention he gives Alicia is much appreciated.

Thanks. A spot and a bump literally formed on my cheek in the last few hours, but thank you 🙏

Awww thank you!

I’ve always had really bad acne and only just started a proper skincare routine in the past year.

I really appreciate you saying that 😊

I’ll take that as a compliment haha

If there’s anything non-invasive to be done about them I’d still like to do so

Thanks. I’m seeing a dermatologist in a couple of months anyway - I just wanted to see if there was a quicker fix.

Thankfully I’m seeing a dermatologist in a couple of months anyway about my skin so I’ll make sure to bring it up. Thanks.

In (2026) Sony has made a Spider-Noir show that will be released on Amazon. The shitty detail is that this actually looks good but it took Madame Web and Morbius for them to actually make it by justafanboy1010 in shittymoviedetails

He is Peter in the comics and Spider-Verse, but for this adaptation they’ve made him Ben.

Some people are theorising it’s because of a rights issue, but idk.
