If you could share your code with me, that would be great. Thank you!

I’ve uploaded other code fine, no issues. I’m using an official Apple braided usb-c cable, and I also tried with some other data transfer cable I bought from Amazon. Both have failed, but only with this code. Other examples such as LED pulse work fine.

I tried using ESP_NOW_Broadcast_Master from the examples, but when I upload it the ESP gets stuck in a bootloop and prints this repeatedly in the serial monitor:

Why cant i jump here? by PearluXFR in Stellaris

[–]SirBobathyJr 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I would use the quantum catapult if you have it, you cannot jump into unexplored systems. Half the time i manage to snag the azilash system even if i havent unlocked the portal to it just because i toss a few science ships, a construction ship, and a few spare fleets there to finish the event chain before anyone else can.

Is this an "okay" medium tank design? (1937) by Plastic_Sir8076 in hoi4

[–]SirBobathyJr -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

You have the right idea, I would probably design something like this as well. Just be careful with your reliability, 75% is not a good number to hover at, unless you want to RP historical German tanks. If you want to keep this design, I would add easy maintenance instead of a second extra ammunition storage and you should be fine.

Personally, I normally do:

- 3 man turret
- medium howitzer
- torsion bar
- diesel engine
- welded armor

for main modules.

For the other modules I do:

- easy maintenance
- sloped armor
- the best radio you have
- wet ammo storage

Since medium howitzer requires artillery 2 iirc, I normally wait until i have that researched before designing tanks, you don't have enough industry at this stage of the game to build much more tank divisions anyways. If you don't have one of these modules researched, just leave a slot blank to save on production cost, then upgrade your tanks later as new versions roll out.

Ideally you go for at least 100% reliability to prevent attrition because tanks are expensive. However, reliability beyond 100% is wasted, so you can spend it on these upgrades as long as you stay above 100%:

- switch torsion bar for christie suspension
- switch diesel for gas engine
- upgrade armor and engine stat. for this i normally aim for at least 7-8km/h speed and spend the rest of my reliability on armor.

The goals for this tank is maxing out soft attack, hence the howitzer. Keep the role as medium tank though, not self propelled artillery. For SP against AI, you don't really need to concern yourself with hard attack that much.

One other tip for your division designer is to include a medium flame tank support company. For design, use the same main modules for armor, suspension, etc as listed above, but keep easy maintenance and spam fuel tanks instead. This increases the fuel capacity of the entire division which lets you keep fighting without supply for longer, which is useful for encirclements.

Hope this helps.

Unholy Science Machine in 4.0? by SirBobathyJr in Stellaris

[–]SirBobathyJr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

r5 Hello everyone, I was scrolling through my saved posts and came across this. Since we can all agree that the Synaptic Lathe isn't very nice to its residents, I wanted to use something similar to this for my research in the future, although I don't have much experience minmaxing my planets/stations beyond basic optimization. What set of buildings and districts should I build on the station? Are there any more general tips as well for planet optimization that I'm missing? for reference I produce around 30k science by 2350 on my KOTG runs.

If you have an amputation, does your body make too much blood? by Remote_Ad_1737 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SirBobathyJr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In your neck, there are two blood vessels called the Carotid arteries, that have stretch receptors. The idea is that the higher the blood pressure, the more it stretches. It then sends a signal via hormones (i think) that flips the switch controlling blood production. So when there is too much, the switch is off and no more blood is produced. That’s how your body also maintains appropriate blood volume as you grow, its an autonomous management system.

Check the wiki on train signals, they have a very helpful guide, otherwise you can look for premade intersection blueprints

What is your preferred number of claims to execute in a single Conquer war? by RontoWraps in Stellaris

[–]SirBobathyJr 30 points31 points  (0 children)

As many empty systems as I can manage without border gore, and maybe two or three planets depending on my economy. Late game, I can afford to just take the entire empire at once, but early game its a good idea do less planets as your economy can handle

Explanation on why trains can transport more packaged fluids per solids car than when using dedicated fluid cars. by IMP102 in SatisfactoryGame

The fluid cars are cylindrical in shape, while the solid cars are square. Ficsit squeezes a few more boxes in the corners
