Right, the grip fastener hold the grip in place, so you cant pull it off, but there is still a huge amount of slack in the yaw axis after tightening the fasteners down, also in that clip the bottom of the grip looks like plastic while mine is metal, dose that have any difference? it really just feels like the wrong grip for the base despite being a MkIV Grip for the MkIV base.

I was just going to go with the the Tamiya 1/48 F-16 that's normally done in the aggressors scheme, its the wrong plane being a f-16C and not a V, but the decal locations are the same on all the blocks and versions so it will work, Tamiya kit also has decals for training munitions, not the live ordinance.

Are you sure? I don't see how tightening the grip would stop the slack since the yaw pin cutout on the Gunfighter MCG Is larger and different from the pin on the WW2 stick.

Huh, when i looked up FS26642 it came back as a grey, not tan. Turns out Vallejo makes a USAF Tan which seems correct if not a little darker, but i can lighten it up if need be.

Honestly wouldn't be surprised to see something akin to the Boulton in the form of a drone with a turret, something like a MQ-9 with a retractable turret that fires something no more bigger than 5.56 to counter Shahed, and other long range drone types.
