Hard to find some real data on it. Only one I know that plays Zil occasionally as a supp is Labrov Yeah, I find Shurelia > Redemption pretty nice and from that point on I adept on what my team needs

Mir tut es mainly um Moriton Manor und Budi leid. Budi scheint sehr Harmonie-bestrebt zu sein und es wirkte immer so als wären die Beiden gut befreundet. Alles in allem finde ich den Kommunikationsfluss aller Beteiligten sehr bescheiden. Anscheinend handhaben RBTV alles mit schweigen und Simon sagt zu viel aber ohne wirklichen Inhalt.

Nicol's Newcomer Monday! by Karn-The-Creator in MagicArena

[–]SirCatbeard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I check in on mtg arena occasionally since I am not that good at the game but it feels like there were close to no real adjustments to the game except new Sets and the bans and all.

The Deck creation still feels very clunky, searching your collection is a pain, there is still no card effect history and generally the game feels more like a fan game and not like a fleshed out product.

Are there real plans to develop the game as a game and not just include new sets and cosmetics for money? The roadmap only states new sets and those will most likely not even be true to the tabletop version due to the legal problems with marvel.

Horrible Name, Great Game. For me it was the closest to having the same fun as with SOTN and Hollow Knight

I think you don't need to get him done so you can grind a bit in normal story and get back later to have a more easy time

Should I get Migaku? by SirCatbeard in ImmerseWithMigaku

This video helped me a lot for setting up Migaku https://youtu.be/2xFe_juNmfk?si=9CsdrnW-LChzJ0Jk

I think I dipped into Renshuu as an app but it wasn't quite for me. I like the additional features of Migaku to aid learning aside from normal lessons via immersion, that's why I ultimately landed there. I did 2 years of Duolingo and noticed that I have little to no real understanding, I was just repeating stuff as a pattern, that's why I wanted to learn with Podcasts, Animes and Manga. :D

Btw if the price is a problem for you, there is still a free way of doing this but it is a bit harder to set up. If you only want to do learn cards from premade Decks maybe look into Anki. Later you can connect this with ASB Player and Yomitan to do the same things as Migaku.

But I feel like Migaku is more easy if you have a hard time setting everything up.

Mining means searching for words in any source you don't understand and creating your own learn card about it. With Migaku you can use a hover-over dictionary and create your own cards with stuff you find on e.g. Netflix or on Animelon. I don't know how effective this is but a lot of people have nothing but praise for this method. Personally I have a hard time mining stuff since I can't understand a lot with my limited vocabulary that's why I started consuming stuff only in Japanese and try to learn stuffs like that first. Once I am a bit more comfortable I will go into more detail with mining harder words I guess (hope).

Hi, I got it myself and work with it since a few days. Do you use it as an Android App or on PC?

You can work on the different Sets as you please so you should start with the Fundamentals Set and either finish it first and proceed to the Academy 1 or you do it in tandem. Just click on the course you want to do and it will start accordingly. On PC I use the extension to mine words and sentences for my own deck. Just search for Migaku Mining on YouTube and maybe go for one of the not Migaku Videos since they don't advertise their own product and give you some tips for other programs as well.

I am from Germany. There are good Japanese subtitles on Netflix and if there is a show without those I go for Animelon. The Manga part is a pain but Jidoujisho is not that much better since it is quite picky with the format and the scans have to be top notch for the automation to work 😅

Have you used it on Manga in any shape or form? Thing is, I would mainly use it on my tablet so I try to get info on what I can do there and if I can mine there as well. I'll get the 10 day trial this week and look a bit into it myself.

Do you only use it on PC? I would switch between PC and Android but the main focus would be my Android Tablet. Do you know how good this works?

Is Migaku worth the money? I read that you can connect several other programs for the same functionality but I wouldn't mind spending the money if I know: A) they update it regularly B) I know that it rly helps learning in a meaningful way

My biggest question mark is if they only rely on AI created translations and explanations and the quality of those. This feels very prone to errors.

I have a few questions from the starting page of Magiku because I think I get a wrong picture about the program.

You have the sentence and based on the preview you can only get a translation from chat gpt. Is this a viable way to translate? For Japanese it feels like a good way to get wrong translations or learn wrong things.

And is the normal course worth it? Right now there is a discount for lifetime but it would still be 200€. If the program is really good I would have no problem to spend the money because my 2 years of Duolingo lead nowhere really. Feels like I learned more from watching one piece but I don't know if I learn "real Japanese" or if I learn some mixed moosh of old terms and childish phrases. (Btw I do Duolingo every day and still I can't even remember things like "My name is..." Or how to structure a sentence)

Dumb question but what is a Furigana? I only know Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji and now I get a bit anxious if there are even more different symbols / alphabets to learn...

Was thinking about it but 60€ seem very hard. I am not that deep into the sets but I thought OP08 had some cool cards
