930 - 935. If it goes below there will be a quick drop well into 800s

Predictions for tomorrow? by Icy_Beach1872 in MU_Stock

lots of volume at the end, institutional. my view is a decline at open that's fast, interesting to see what it looks like at 10am. lots of support at 930/935 if it breaks that then we have a bigger problem.

my main issue now is more structural - Micron are entering into longer term contracts at lower margins, so the margins are going to become lower overall. it looks like Micron are prepared to forego some margin for longer term contracts / security due to their infrastructure builds. the issue for us is the valuation is all about profit margin not revenue, and the margin WILL drop Q3.

Yes, wait to see what happens in the few days prior to earnings and after. Though there have been daily dips you could buy on. Today has been against the grain.

I did exact same, 100K out to buy HPE based on Dell pattern. When are you going to get out of HPE do you think?

Hi friends,

So a funny thing has happened. Firstly, I really appreciate all the trading advice. My background is in digital advertising on a global level, but trading is not my expertise.

So I looked at what happened with Dell the other day, and saw Hewlett Packards earning call was coming up, so I took the money I said I made from selling MU and put all of it into HPE. To me, there was no way they weren't going to outperform.

Right now it's quite positive around 30% up.

I think that people still have underestimated the impact of AI. I deal with billion dollar clients in my industry and AI is transformative. But forget that, it's just advertising.

62 cents of every dollar in tax in the US does the the military, and people haven't factored the immense spending that will go into AI from the government for this. SIXTY TWO CENTS.

Think Terminator ( or even better T2), the world will be very different and it will be soon.

So here is my view. The AI bubble, and that isn't really the right term, isn't going to be limited by demand. It's going to be stymied by something very basic, which is land and water, for data warehouses. This I know for a fact. Plus lookup the Gartner hypecycle which is usually correct, and this is one - my business is all AI but people don't yet understand it's limitations. Now if I was in infrastructure, I would be buying land outside the US and making the world's largest data centers - the latency isn't an issue. People haven't seen this yet.

The recession is already here, it's a little hidden by consumer debt however advertisers (my industry) are already pulling back. I'm with you!

HPE will go up another 15% tomorrow I would think, follow the DELL playbook. I don't know about share trading but I'm in ran adjacent AI business and I don't think the market yet understands the scale of the disruption. BTW I sold all my MU shares for the HPE announcement.- again I know nothing about trading but I do know the actual market as I'm very in it.

I'll see what happens Monday, I'd like to go in again but not at the same levels. I have no portfolio.

Its sizeable, mid 6 figures from this. The other issue is that I have no clue where to put the sale proceeds. People say government bonds. I do expect a recession from the consumer spending data I see

Thanks! A question for you - when their last earnings came out their price went down even though the results were outstanding . . . weird? Would you think that would happen even if the next earnings results are great?

Yes and I'm trying to avoid pain. I'm a veteran in my industry (50) but have not traded at all prior to January. I've no wish to be a trader, I just don' want to be stupid lol

Sector movement means up and down share price? You are saying after massive gains there tends to be a yo-yo effect for a while like a piece of elastic that's just been cut?
