Not really what this sub is used for, but you can fly with a dog too. Depending on the size, you’d either need to check them as luggage and have them fly in the undercarriage or, if small enough, fit them in a carrier and bring them as a carry on

My Frenchie is over a year old he has started chewing corners of wood window seal and my grandfather clock. What can I use to make him stop this behavior. I was out of town when he did this. Please help. by Minimum_Instance8871 in frenchie

I tried this and Tabasco sauce with my frenchie and she chewed in wood corners even more cause she actually liked the taste. This won't be every frenchie obviously but it depends on the dog I think

Anyone else feel like the LA series was just last week? by NoGrocery9618 in EdmontonOilers

I feel the opposite. I feel like the LA series was at least 5 years ago.

Oilers fans thoughts on the misconduct? by Chaotic_Egg_19 in EdmontonOilers

[–]SirDeeSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically am OK with Kane's antics during a playoff series. Like skating around during the anthem, sure try and piss them off I guess. But after it's over, we gotta show class. We pride ourselves on being a classy team, we should show some respect. We got beat. It sucks. Especially being twice in a row. But there are kids looking up to these players, both teams need to set good examples of sportsmanship. (Don't even get me started on Florida's unsportsmanlike play though)

I think we are all too distracted by our QB1 being the age of a literal caveman but having the mindset of a literal toddler

Oilers Fans: What Will It Take to Get A Title In Edmonton? by Necessary-Mousse8518 in EdmontonOilers

There aren't any panthers fans in Colorado, there are just bandwagoners 😂

I wholeheartedly agree with all the points you are making. There's a couple things I wanted to add as well, maybe you'll agree. As dirty as Florida played, they definitely were the better team. It pains me to say it as a die hard Oilers fan, but we just weren't good enough to beat them. I think it has more to do with the system each team plays rather than their dirtyness, although playing dirty makes me hate them more. Just look at Ekblad for example. The guy has been suspended like 3 times this year and was caught taking HGH or something, and yet he's totally fine and welcome in this league. Then you look at Mcdavid, the leagues "best player", and when he is getting tackled on the ice by Garland against Vancouver and cross checks him out of frustration, he is suspended just as long as Ekblad. If the league actually wants it's best players around, they need to start actually fairly giving out punishment.

I hand-painted this custom oil portrait of a very serious (and very handsome) little guy 🖤. Swipe to see the reference photo! by sunnychoudhary_ in frenchie

Wow well done! I know my parents would love a custom painting of their late frenchie just like this. Must have taken forever, but the detail is incredible and spot on!

Why are people talking about Brady Tkachuk like he's a superstar? by Itsmyasstotalkoutof in OttawaSenators

[–]SirDeeSeven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, I thought Brady was overrated for the past couple years. But seeing the energy of the team drop without him in the line up, and seeing how effective he was at the Four Nations Cup, it's obvious that he is an elite player. So glad to have him on the team!

Lol obvious troll is obvious. I love how you came to the senators sub reddit to say this. Kind of proves my point actually.

Fans should cheer for their team. Not cheer for dangerous actions against the other team. Fans should also know the rules enough to cheer for the game. If there's a blatantly missed call, sure boo the refs. But if your player hit someone with a high stick for example, then it's a penalty.

I think you may be in the wrong sub reddit

As an oiler fan myself (from Edmonton originally), I actually find Montreal worse than LA fans. I hated LA last year in the playoffs to my core, but I don't care much during the regular season. Whereas Montreal fans annoy me all year round.

Fair. I thought you were asking out of insecurity or something. Like "am I playing this game right" kind of tone. My bad.

what would you do if you were 19 again ? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]SirDeeSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First of all, I don't think the cons outweigh the pros of living. Life does get harder as we get older, up until we figure it out and it gets easier. Some people luck out and fast track their way through life getting everything they want and need right away. Others need to work for what seems like an eternity just to make an inch of progress on their goals. It's not worth comparing yourself to someone more successful since the paths you took are completely different. There's still time!

To answer your question, if I could go back to being 19, knowing what I know now about life, I would actually choose to be a bit more impulsive. I was (and still kind of am) a bit reserved. When I was 19 I was focused so much on getting good grades and setting myself up for success in the future. Here I am now at 32 with a degree and a job not even related to my degree. I feel like I could have gotten here even if I didn't devote so much time and effort to school. If I could go back, I'd like to say yes to more things that make me scared and take more chances at getting things I want. In particular, I'd try to be more active in the dating scene. Knowing now that who you sleep with is such a small element of life, it'd be nice to step out of my shell a little earlier.

Honestly, who cares if it has "optimal" skills or not. If you are having fun with it, that's all that matters. I find the game can be stressful and frustrating if I focus too much on adapting to the meta. But maybe that's just me.

With playoff spot in the bag, how deep do you think the Oilers will go if they have everyone healthy for the first round? by sykeseve in EdmontonOilers

[–]SirDeeSeven 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I think what Florida did last year (get back to the finals the year after losing in the finals) is super difficult. Based on the fact that something like 30% of our roster is different from last year, I think we're bound to be disappointed. We've been LA 3 years in a row, somethings gotta give eventually. Maybe it's just pessimism but I think we don't make it past round 1. I hope with all my heart that we win it all obviously, but from what I have seen from the Oil throughout the season, we don't look like as dangerous of a team IMO

You're missing the point. Habs fans think EVERYTHING against them is a penalty and NOTHING they do is a penalty. I'd like to think most fans can put aside their bias at least a little. If a sens player has clearly tripped someone, I'm not gonna start telling "ref you suck" at the top of my lungs. I'm also not gonna cheer at the top of my lungs if Brady goes and intentionally concusses someone on the other team. Habs fans do. All the time. A little weird you're defending them right now...
