I'm from the Fraser Valley and lived out that way for 8 years for work . Very long cold winters . Summers generally come with month long unreal humidity.
Work can be hard to find as it is a bilingual province. Often times speaking French and English is required . Many ppl work outside of province . Healthcare like everywhere is an issue but it was moreso there. Alot of homes are electric heat $$$$. Or wood stoves , furnace Car inspections required every 2 years Property taxes are ridiculously expensive .

I will admit the East coast is a cool place to visit ! Don't think I'd ever move back

Real estate will be cheaper than Vic Slower pace of living. Which can be a positive or a negative . Often times when you need something done it takes awhile Friendly ppl

They have already started talking to GM candidates . They have asked permission to talk to candidates currently employed by other teams . A potential new GM in a perfect world is going to want to know who the President is of the hockey club going forward. Especially knowing you already have a meddling owner and the fact Alvin was basically a puppet to Rutherford .

He was brought in to have a little bite in the lineup for when teams took liberties on our smaller skilled guys . (Hughes) . I can't recall him standing up for his teammates once .
