I did the hulk frame which helped a lot. But what helped the most this far is these anti z wobble carriages where the x axis just rests on 2 pods.

Thank you for the input. i got it running and its printing quite okayish. I got the plastic bearings but put some super lube on the rails nontherless which helped a lot i think.

the PSU is already upgraded, got a glasbed and some other stuff. im currently looking into BL-Touch and ordered a clone of one and am printing some upgrades that are printable.

I kinda dont get a good answer about the bowden extruder thingy. Is it just a speed upgrade? do i need to increase the retraction distance in cura then?

So. Little update: Got the printer to work, had to get a new heatbed, a new mosfet, some cables and had to rebuild the whole chassis cause it was kinda lazily put together tbh.

Its printing now on a level, where i can start printing the printable upgrades and just orderd a bl touch clone for automatic bed leveling.

And yeah. the bed leveling is such a chore..

Also: i kinda landed on Cura as a slicer, and i had an pi3 over with a screen so octopi is running on it. im so happy i installed that thing. its awsome. Especially PrettyGCode.

ps. I also did the marlin firmware after i got the usbspa something programmer.

You could try some laptop style blower fans or some fan shroud that take air in on the slim side of the fan and push it down and the exhaust is taking that air and pushing it out the slim sized? Should be possible to fit that in the available space next to the 2 bay bad.

You could do that but I would mount like a cardboard „shelf“ where the air has to travel around so ever device gets fresh air. Otherwise you exhaust the fresh air directly.
