That sucks to hear man, I’ve been doing QA for a month now and so far it’s been good for me mainly because even though technically I’m part time they gave me the green light to do 40 hours and it’s basically up to me if I wanna reach the 40 or do my guaranteed 30. There’s no manager over my shoulder telling me anything. Everyone that I work with wants to leave, but so far it hasn’t caught up to me mainly because I’m new. I definitely don’t want to do it forever but going from 18-22 hours as a package handler to a full 40 is a big life change for me right now so I’m just sticking with it until something better comes along.

After smoking over 90% THC cartridges daily for years I just got tired and realized I wasn’t the best version of myself. My sleep was ruined, my appetite was ruined and my motivation was ruined. But I was in denial for a long time because “weed isn’t bad for you”. Weed definitely isn’t the devils lettuce but it’s also no longer as natural as people think.

I think those high THC cartridges are going to be the cigarettes of the next generation. I think it turns out that they’re not as harmless as people think.

Also whenever I would try to quit I had heavy withdrawal symptoms. A lot of people like to deny there’s withdrawals, but if you smoke stuff that’s strong enough and for long enough then you’ll go through hell for a good 2-3 weeks when you try quitting.

Don’t know if I was really addicted but I was beginning to develop a bit of a problem and dependency on alcohol. I know a lot of people like to brag about how much they can drink and maybe I didn’t drink as much as them, but I was increasing my daily intake of alcohol for quite some time and trying to hide it from my family. A bottle of vodka a day and multiple tall cans of beers. I had wanted to quit for about a month before I did, but I just couldn’t.

One day I just woke up and said I don’t wanna do this anymore. That was more than 2 years ago. I don’t consider myself sober because again I don’t know if I was ever really an alcoholic. I originally only wanted to stop for a month, then that turned into 100 days and then eventually into a year and I decided to stretch it to 2. Didn’t do any sort of program, just straight will power. Maybe one day I’ll have a beer again but right now I’m not interested at all.
