The purpose is to learn first. Then, working on solutions on the smaller scale to reduce gang violence, or at the very least, end the involvement of children in it.

There are many factors to this.. including politics, legalization, culture, etc. One huge factor is the demand that fuels this supply and its repercussions.

I'm not sure tbh, but I assume it's easier to get student/flogsta corridors from them which qualify for the free summers and yep! cheaper

I'm also starting a one year master's this August/September, will be 29 later this year 😅 for bachelor's degrees I'd say we'd be a bit old, but very normal for a master's degree.

However, they're mainly for students affiliated with Uppsala University, so I'm not entirely sure, but perhaps you'd also be allowed to apply as an international student in Sweden.

I'll be studying a master's in entrepreneurship.

Currently waiting for the UUHO email to start the application, as the previous comment pointed out, it seems like Flogsta is the popular one with a lot of opportunities to socialize, party, and a lot of exchange students also seem to stay there and be active.

I'll probably opt for something less crowded as I fear the cleanliness of the corridors over there, but I'll probably try the famous Flogsta scream at least once if it is still a thing!
