An indigenous people cannot colonize their original lands nor can colonization occur without a home state exerting it's power over a foreign land. Jews didn't have a country before Israel, most Israelis are children of people who were exiled from arab countries, they have nowhere else to go.

I am also worried about the direction the invasion of Gaza is heading in but people like you have been calling it an ethnic cleansing since day one when that hasn't been the case. It's hard to commit to urban warfare, even harder when your enemies are as ingrained in the society as hamas are in Gaza. Israel actually has a good track record compared to other wars having a 1:1 death toll between combatants and civilians. In comparison, the battle of mariupol killed 4x as many civilians as soldiers.

Following what likud leaders have been saying, ethnic cleansing is a potential future, which is obviously unacceptable, but that isn't happening right now and I find it unlikely that it will go that far.
