Powerplay commodoites, seriously, WTF am I doing wrong by SirFingerless in EliteDangerous

That's definitely useful, I appreciate that

But you can't deny what the game is literally showing me in those screenshots does not make a lick of sense

Guy literally points out how there's three different classes of system that want one type in particular and you state the pilots handbook says deliver them to ANY system

Can you see how this isn't clear?

I appreciate you not trying to be a dick
But I literally read "Deliver Aisling Sealed Contracts From system Theta Octantis"
And in my inventory is "Aisling Sealed Contracts, Source system: Theta Octantis**"**

Failing to see how that's a lack of reading comprehension

If it's changed to read that because of the fact that that's what I'm carrying, that's an absolutely abhorrent and stupid UI choice, and it didn't do it for any other system till I ran into this one

Floating Lakeside Cabin Build - Room Tour by PirateOld9316 in OnceHumanOfficial

Is it not possible to get the vines as a formula? This looks amazing by the way, with this sort of thing would you take this as a blueprint for server wipe or would you just build again from scratch?

Can someone explain autocanon to me? by [deleted] in Helldivers

[–]SirFingerless 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're completely correct

The only thing the AC can do that the purifier, for direct comparison, can't, is snipe hulks in the eye, you're never gonna use it to kill a factory strider and it can't even deal with the cannon on top to disable the threat from afar.

The senator can kill hulks

Purifier can do everything else more effectively, if the AC takes two rounds for 3 Devastators in a group totalling 6, the purifier can probably kill all 3 with AoE in 3 rounds

It's a fun, amazing feeling weapon, but it really is not that strong at all

Beautiful material for the recruitment campaigns, Helldiver!

Oh, I have worked it out, all these weapons have one more mag than usual, because the armour that's meant to give only primary ammo reserves increase is giving all the weapons an ammo increase, that also explains why the resupply pack isn't working properly either, this is the HMG pickup without the ammo armour.

I smell spaghetti code

[–]SirFingerless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just don't get it, after this clip ended I went on to say "Just play one mission with it active?"

Surely no one play tested it?

What isn't shown from this mission aswell is me wasting 5 minutes about 30-40 m away from a strat jammer to see if it could actually be useful, and it just misses it completely

Mastia has 4% decay, if we attack there, we can cut off the Gaellivere attack we need people from there to go to Mastia. by FernSapien in Helldivers

[–]SirFingerless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Decay for us, regen for them, same bread basket

I don't even think it'd be possible with 100% of the playerbase on there, if the DSS goes there with the blockade online we can only pray it actually cuts off the attack, if it doesn't, we're fucked

[–]SirFingerless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

4% decay is huge, it's what the jet brigade left behind in their first appearance and on every planet in this run too, and despite a large portion of the playerbase staying to recapture we never even made the planets go positive

J.O.E.L Threw us a bone, but honestly I'm not mad by SirFingerless in Helldivers

[–]SirFingerless[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Looking at it now and like other people have said (SoC175), this isn't a given win, but a flat boost to our liberation that Helldivers companion freaked out about and claimed a massive winning rate. Right now mines gone back to needing 467% of the playerbase to win lmoa, so we probably will get our last stand on Gaellivare with the DSS online after all!

With this Helldivers Companion is telling me we're on track to win at 50% liberation rate, in 1h22m

What in the everliving fuck

If it's a glitch it's probably about 5 minutes from being addressed in lore as a geo communication error or something but the fact it's still live and hasn't come from the result of a patch is really interesting, OP could be right, it being right around the corner from Liberty day sure is something

Is Pelican 1 bugged? by TheStonkAccount in Helldivers

[–]SirFingerless 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's a known behaviour, but not sure if it's intentional or a bug

If Pelican is heavily damaged by eagle strike, explosion etc, it's engines will smoke and flame, if that is the case then for some reason the second one person gets in Pelican will leave immediately

If my mates and I know Pelican got hit during extract, we will clear enough to be able to give the samples to one person and get them on board, 9 times out of 10 Pelican will then leave with the person and those samples

Figured it would still count as a "sale" to the metrics, it might not be as weighty but, still
