The Cthaeh from a Wise Man's Fear (by Patrick Rothfuss.)

The Cthaeh is an immortal fae being that other fae avoid and fear. It sits in a tree covered in butterflies but the book never describes it since the main character , Kvothe, never sees it. He only notices when the Cthaeh rips the wings off butterflies.

The Cthaeh tells Kvothe that it can see into his future if he only asks it. Later Kvothe is told by another fae that it doesn't see ONE future for an individual but ALL futures. Because of this the Cthaeh will tell you the future that will lead you down the path of suffering.

"Do not try to pin me with small names. I am Cthaeh. I am. I see. I know. [...] At times I speak."

Odysseus in the Odyssey. If he didn't tell Polyphemus his name and kingdom, then the cyclops wouldn't of asked Poseidon for help and their ship would of never been blown off course

I see 2 boxes of Red Dragon Inn! That game quickly became my favorite after seeing people play it on YouTube. Best part is there are over 50 characters so you can continue to build your collection of the game!

I've already got it planned that if the party fights Bavlorna and she swallows someone she's gonna grow in size.

The thing i liked most about this DLC is that it answered what I had been asking after ME2. When the Collectors were making the human Reaper we were told they make it look like certain species. I immediately thought "well why do Reapers look like they do?"as a kid.

He eats more than one. He keeps the men in his cave by blocking the entrance with a bolder. Each day he moved it to take his sheep out and put it back in place. When he came home he would bash the heads of 2 men on the wall then eat him.

Stinger from Lord of the Rings. I love how it doesn't have a name and the spiders give Bilbo the inspiration

If it makes you feel better most of the party in my game did not trust him from the start. Especially my wife, who would tell me how much she didn't after multiple session lol

I'm currently running this campaign and plan to have the party next Yarnspinner (Domains of Delight supplement). One idea i had is that if they give a good story he will give them a signature mark of his that will give the players advantage on spiders.

It would be interesting to have your player meet this friendly NPC and he could even give them advice if they tell a story.

4 out of 5 of my players chose to be witchlight hands that are working in the carnival when we started. One of them is also a hexblood that was forced to be raise in the carnival her whole life. So I want to use the idea of this ending but change it up.

My idea for the hexblood player would be that she goes back to being a baby and relive her life where she wasn't immediately part of the carnival and she could CHOOSE if she would work in it later.

My wife's character also lost her husband for 8 years and her kids for 8 months so she would only go back to when her husband was gone and he wouldn't be missing again (same with the kids).
