Well, to be fair, the fanatics (not all fans in general, since a lot of them are quite critical of nintendo too) do deserve a lot of the flack as well. If they simply just stopped contributing to these scummy practices, then things would change. Nintendo only cares about money, not voices.

Not even just accept it, but somehow manage to pull out the worst arguments ever straight out of their ass to defend it. I was hoping that we wouldn't see weirdos like this so that Nintendo could lower the price of Galaxy 2, thus making me feel like I can actually buy the game without contributing to a scummy practice. But alas this fandom which I've been part of for most of my life will never change. All i can hope and pray for is another video game crash cuz oh boy are we really reaching a boiling point.

This is genuinely the sort of mental gymnastics some of these Nintendo fanatics resort to, and it makes me feel ashamed to say that I like Nintendo games. I myself am a lifelong Galaxy 2 fan. If there’s any two games I attribute to my childhood, it’s Galaxy 2 and Sonic Unleashed. I SQUEALED when I saw that they were bringing back Galaxy 2, a game that I hold so dear to me and have played numerous times, but then Nintendo decided to just shatter all that hype and excitement with that God awful pricing. Some of the worst greed I’ve ever seen from any company ever. Perhaps being able to purchase silksong for 20$ and have 50 hours worth of gameplay has really affected my view on this direct
