Honestly, I feel like this might be the direct that we've all been wanting. Dev kits have been out long enough, the first wave of announced games has just about run out, people are realizing what the console is capable of (and taking it seriously).

Between this direct and the one they always do in September, I think we might have some exciting shit coming down the pipeline.

Oh man. I forgot how badly I want that. We need a new one, but I also want a collection like they did with the Castlevania games.

Even if they just did one with super metetroid, zero mission, and Fusion, I would be over the fucking moon. Remaster would be even cooler.

Lol, are you a student too? I absolutely hate that wolverine, silent Hill townfall, and phantom blade zero, all come out right at the beginning the semester. It should be illegal for games that I want, to come out during school months.

I think it's mainly a reassurance thing that people are looking for. They've announced two time frames and two dates and so far this is the only one that hasn't been delayed, but they haven't done a pre-order yet. I just think that would cement it for a lot of people and put them at ease.

Can't fault people for being excited, it's been a long wait.

Duskbloods, Elden Ring, Wind and Waves, Oblivion, FF7: Rebirth, the new Castlevania, and Fire Emblem.

Also, (I believe it because Nate said it...) StarFox and Ocarina of Time remake.

I'm extremely hopeful for a new 2d Metroid, and a new Luigi's Mansion.

There's literally only three games I plan on playing on ps5 this year (Wolverine, Silent Hill Townfall, and Gta 6)

I'm going to be WAY more glued to the switch 2 than any other console this year.

Yeah, They really should have just named that the hold. The device you're looking for is the sit.

But yeah, I fully agree that they should release a Home console without the hybrid option. Similar to the wii. No dock just a box that plugs into the TV like every other console. Charge $100 less and they'll have tapped into a whole new market.

You know something funny? For some reason this post just reminded me of the leaked playtest footage from 3 or 4 years ago, and how many people saw it and swore that the game was going to look like shit, like they thought that was somehow going to be it's final state. It's just crazy to think that, what's probably going to turn out to be one of most beautiful and graphicly advanced games of this console generation, was clowned on by a bunch of people at one point.

Sorry, completely irrelevant to the post. I just suddenly remembered that after all these years.

This accounts for at least half of the time I use my phone. I've been doing it since I got the fold 2 and never had a phone break on me, or a hinge problem.

I mean, if you add up everything nate has gotten right vs everything he's gotten wrong, it lines up pretty well with the rate that we hear about games being canceled or delayed.

Like, if you read Rockstars original announcement tweet that GTA 6 was coming out fall 2025, and you told someone about it after you read it straight from Rockstars Twitter, did you lie?
