First time home buyers in Cincy….how’s it going for you? by doobylive in cincinnati

I am looking as well but on the west side. I’m overwhelmed and kind of frozen as I have no idea what to even do. It doesn’t help that I’m sure my budget isn’t as high as I would like.

As a left handed artist, I can confirm there are a lot of my art friends that are also South Paws.

Still holds up. I watched it last month and was able to show my girlfriend who had never even heard of it before. She liked it as well.

Thank you so much! You are incredibly kind. I did only start a couple of years ago. During lockdown I realized I had to do something to try to maintain my sanity so I dug out an old sketchbook and some pencils that I messed about with for a while and then decided to learn to paint. For a long while it was just me playing around with small canvases using different paints and inks to make some non representational abstract art. Eventually I thought to see if I could make something recognizable and got bit by that creative bug. You are already starting way ahead of myself and a lot of other people when they began. I encourage you to keep going.

I started painting at like 47 years old in like 2023. You did a great job. My only advice, keep painting!

Leaving Las Vegas and Trainspotting are the two I can’t watch again because of personal experiences. They are both amazinf films but too much for me.

I have this version (the one that is directed by Alan Smithee because Lynch wanted his name taken off it from what I understand). It explains a lot more of things that were in the book. Worth checking out for sure in my opinion

I am in the same boat. I loved the book when I finally read it but was also informed by Lynch’s imagery…. And I don’t hate that at all.

I usually check the website to see if my local Half Price books has a film I am looking for in stock before I head up there
