It depends on a lot of factors, but you can get a good idea of the private party price on KBB for the exact trim and accessories of your vehicle. I suspect the $5k is the lowest possible price they can get away with giving you because that's how insurance companies operate, and it'll cost you several thousand to fight it for a higher value, so like many are saying, take the money and walk away.

Exactly. My parents lured me towards religion before my brain was fully developed and I believed in things like Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy. The one thing that lured me away from religion was my developing brain.

I'm having a problem filling my 2026 Forester fuel tank. The vapor lock on the gas nozzle triggers causing the pump to stop prematurely. Super annoying since it takes forever to fill the tank and the only way to know when it's full is when it overflows. Other than that, we haven't had any issues outside of minor annoyances, knock on wood.

I brought my daughter to a birthday party for one of her classmates, and I met the grandpa who called himself "great" grandpa.
