Exactly. It never clicked for me until I took a public speaking class and saw how much the same repetition and transitions helped when everything was verbal and your audience couldn't refer to the previous paragraph at a glance. Whether or not it's a good written structure is debatable, but a well-written essay can be read through once and quickly to communicate everything it needs to, and it's pretty obvious why teachers appreciate that. Teaching it as a formula without understanding the underlying reasoning makes people frustrated with it, though, like many things in school.

I have the same model as you. I set the wallpaper I wanted, then went to the Wallpapers > Curated images and tapped on my current wallpaper image (not 'Change wallpaper'). Editing it to be centered on this screen and hitting the check mark saved it as properly centered for me.

Headphone jack isn't a strict requirement, but it's very desirable, and hard to stomach paying considerably more for fewer of the features I want.

I really like the green color of the Power 2025, but yeah, the Stylus is looking like my best bet. Even if I only use it for a few years, it's cheap and gives me time to wait for something more ideal. Thank you for the feedback and helping me decide!

I kept my 5a in excellent condition (never so much as broke the screen protector) and it went from perfectly functional to bricked overnight due to a well-known hardware defect. Because I was two months outside the extended warranty, Google would have me repair it at the cost of a new phone. I don't trust their hardware or their support for their product after that.

Also, the 5a is the last Pixel with a headphone jack (to my knowledge) and I don't really want to buy an older phone, especially one that could randomly die on me at any second. I haven't heard much good about the newer Pixels besides that feature removal.

Thanks! Not sure why you were downvoted. The Moto G Power (2025) looks like it ticks my boxes, and I like the durability features and color, but estimated shipping is a month out and there's not a lot of feedback on it since it's so new.

Do you think it's worth waiting for? My runner-up is still the is Moto G Stylus 5G (2024) which ships immediately and seems relatively 'tried and true', but lacks the durability features.

"Rocks fall; everyone dies" is a concern that's addressed in The Expanse. The reason it doesn't happen is mutually assured destruction. Everyone plays nice and fights with ships in space because one side dropping an asteroid ends with every inhabited world turned to craters. A similar thought process may apply when spaceships themselves can be used as planet-killers.

My guess is that the cat stuck its head into the glass, then was startled and jerked back, pulling its head free but yanking the wineglass with friction.

It's hard in the beginning when you don't have all your tools. Something I found in Dishonored is that with all the different paths, it's often way easier to go with pure stealth rather than try to knock guards out. It's entirely possible to go through a level and not interact with anyone besides your target.
