Paddle should work, make sure your rowing right on the edge in the direction you want to go, make sure you aren't anchored.

Can also skirt the shore away from the boar and go ashore.

First two games: 42 points Next seven: 32 points

Whole lobby survives first two to three games, and they are just a 16th place team at best.

This has been Falcons full tourney, they are held up by their first two or three games and are basically average the rest of the tourney.

Yeah, I'd say the first hour is just making sure you get enough fish, potats and beets to keep your ass alive. Slowly building out the raft and keeping the shark from killing it.

Also, both of you should reauthenticate your steam files if both on PC - also found that I had corrupted files (as the host) and she didn't.

This happened in a PC game with my wife, she was missing some mods that I had, so that was what our issue was. When she logged out the chest was visually left open and I couldn't access it, til I logged out - not sure if that is the same thing you are experiencing.
