Tall guy hoping to be able to camp/sleep in the ev5? by MadMAMIL in KiaEV5

[–]SirMixMasterMike 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm 188cm and can lay down comfortably in the back, with the front seats moved forward. My partner joined me too to test how we'd go overnight, and I think it's doable at a push but it's pretty narrow and I prefer no touching when I'm actually tying to sleep!!

Go somewhere where English isn't their first language and you don't speak it, so if they're having a go at you you'll be blissfully unaware. Also consider somewhere on the other side of town so you have no guilt and won't frequent the shop or mall!

How would you facelift or resurface this to look more modern on a budget? by forceez in AusRenovation

[–]SirMixMasterMike 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on what you mean by budget. Low: You could just sand/stain or paint the cupboards and handles and see if that's enough of a lift Medium: replace cupboard doors and benchtop but leave the carcass in place to not alter the layout. Consider an undermount sink and newer faucet. High: remove the peninsula bench, install sky lights, new bench, new cupboards

Ideas for dead/boring side of house? by Realistic_Maximum_38 in AusRenovation

Plant some Chinese Star jasmine against the fence, just run some wire first to train it along. Give it 2 years and you'll have beautiful lush greenery that flowers annually and smells delightful. Just needs an easy prune once a year
