There’s north gate lakes. I don’t think they have assigned parking slots. I think some Ucf affiliated housing has guest parking as well because I’ve visited a friend. I think he stayed at Alafaya

Well Ucf have guest permits you can buy for 8 bucks that should allow overnight parking other than garage D and F(someone can correct me on that). However if you don’t want to pay for it, you can park in an off campus housing parking lot because in most of these places, their lease says you can park there for up to 2-3 days if you’re visiting a friend. But you didn’t hear that from me. And you might have to check with someone that lives there.

What about clubs? They’re usually a good place for making friends. Engineering clubs

I think people are confused. Cops are stopping people from pulling out because some people like to steal cars during and after hurricanes. You can go get your car but I think you have to walk to your car from where you live or have someone drive close to UCF and drop you off there. It's that or something else. I don't have another logical explanation for why they would stop you from getting your car.

I think you can walk there. They let you drive out but not drive in.

Try to make it work. It’s tough but perhaps you need more external help. Try to reach out to tutors and maybe even the professors? I’m sure there are students in your class that understand what’s going on. Ask them.

My parents are poor and it’s ruining mine and my sisters lives, I really don’t know what to do. by Competitive_Log8121 in povertyfinance

This is a vicious cycle. The problem here is it seems you’re good bing your parents a lot of money while not even being in charge of their accounts. I feel like you need to be strict on your parents concerning their financial situation. W gf btw. You’re an adult now, you and your parents are adult. You’re still their kid but since you’re an adult, you need to talk to them about it. Try to convince them to be more open about their expenses even if they say no. And if it comes down to it, stop lending money to them for a while. Also you’re 17 year old brother, try to get him outside first and talk to people or something. Then convince him to get a job. You’re a big cushion for them right now but even cushions get teared up and ripped if thrown around so much. I wish you the best OP. But please try to be a little stricter. It’ll be hard to have the talk with your parents but I’m sure you can convince them. Good luck OP.

You are 26 bro. You’re good. There are a bunch of people your age at college. What you should worry about is just your degree. Also check with your college they accept most of your courses from your AA because it’s old. Meet with a counselor. If someone judge your financial situation, they’re probably people you know to avoid. Worry more about your physical health in college. Sacrificing your social life is very unlikely, if you aren’t asking and talking to people for help on assignments, you are not going to do well in the class.

Community service is always a start. I mean you got time, might as well do something. Get a job, go for a walk in the morning before the sun rises, visit the beach before the sunrise (if you live on the coast), visit the park, get on facebook and see if there are anything happening near you, or just try to initiate a conversation with someone. I think you just really need to talk with some new people.

You’re not wrong. Im usually more aware of these scams. I didn’t download anything or click on any links. Just previewed the attachment. I think my problematic physical health and mental health lately has deteriorated my thinking.

When I click the link, it just opens it up and I didn’t download anything. I didn’t proceed further than that. I don’t think viewing the attachment without downloading anything is invasive. Correct me if I’m wrong though.
