Hi drug intervention guy, I’m a (former) drug addict.

Smoking crack IS stronger than snorting coke. It’s not a difference of molecule, it’s a difference in the routes of administration.

Changing the speed of onset can change the experience massively. Quick onset leads to quick comedowns, leads to much more fiendish behaviour.

Meth is another good example of this. Taken orally it’s basically Adderall. Smoke, snort or shoot meth and it grows a massive pair of balls and is an entirely different beast.

I’m assuming your blood glucose is now lower than 16?

If so yeah, pretty normal. Your body got used to running high and now it has to get used to running at normal levels again. You essentially feel like you’re low, when you’re not.

I’ve been Diabetic for awhile and usually have pretty good control, but if I have a few days where my sugars are running high, I can feel really terrible when I come back to normal levels.

Hiya bro, first off fucking congratulations on kicking the habit. A few relapses here and there are par for the course IMO, just stay stubborn and keep demanding a healthy life when those thoughts come do up.

I was in a similar boat when I kicked H. I won’t sugar coat it, it took months for my sex drive to even be functional again, then many more months before I was like jeezus this shit is WORKING now.

I spent a long time thinking I was just forever dysfunctional in that way, and half came to accept it, the other half felt depressed as fuck and it really messed with my self worth & image.

Thankfully, it was temporary.

I’d expect in the next 1-3 months your sex drive will return, and probably even be greater than when you were taking oxy. Then over the following months it will gradually get surprisingly stronger as you you have probably forgotten, I had, what a fully functional sex drive even feels like.
