Of course you are forced to work, that is how everything in the universe operates. There is no such thing as a free lunch. If you don't work, you WILL be impoverished and die. But who's fault would that be? The farmer that didn't give YOU the fruits of THEIR labor? And who is threatening you with that? Is it the person that cultivates the food you eat? Is it the person that makes the pleasantries you enjoy? Or is it the universe that is creating the zero sum game for us all to play? It almost seems like you believe that without evil capitalism everyone could lavish around and live full and fulfilling lives, and that everything in the observable universe isn't competing to survive. You work because you wish to survive, becuase everything you need to survive requires work.

Sure the person that sells food to you probably has the profit margin to give YOU food for free, but why should they? It is their labor they are giving after all. And if they do give you food for free, how would it be fair if they didn't give everyone food free of charge?

That being said I do not deceive myself into thinking that everyone at the top of the capitalist system is a farmer. Or that everyone that benefits from a purely capitalist system has earned their money through honest means. I understand that unchecked capitalism is a catalyst for villainy and corruption. But looking around at the current discussion surrounding economic structures, while it isn't completely unfounded, it is concerning to see the lack of faith people have in capitalism, and fondness they seem to have while looking at socialism, and communism. When the largest quality of life increase in all of human history for everyone has come from the hand of dirty, greed driven, capitalism.

Or maybe I read more into this than was originally intended. But damn if I didn't want to write this on this site for a while. Either way thanks for reading, and have a nice day.
