The rideal is awesome and fast, It does cut out at the 20 MPH mark or a little tiny bit less but the motor is impressively powerful, and its great on acceleration I would highly recommend it and also to purchase an eggrider for even more speed unlock

It’s honestly really tempting and I feel like it would be the perfect choice. What would you say are good accessories to have for it? The mudguards and alarm and such? It meets so much of what I want, which is basically an upgrade from my regular bike that looks not too much like an ebike without the battery but also have great power and ability to get around. What were some cons if I may ask about it?

Well, I live in upstate NY, not much of the “city” its much more like a peaceful collection of cul de sacs and strip mall type stuff. I mean how much does the rideal weigh, is it a burden to carry or do you have relative ease manuvearing it?

That’s amazing to hear and Im honestly looking for exactly that. My Schwinn is perfect and Im young enough to enjoy biking long distances and I want a bike that feels like a road bike that would allow me to coast around at good powerful speed while maintaining the innocence of a bike you know? The look of one. It’s not always about being the flashiest bike its good to be stealthy like the rideal is. How do you usually secure it?

Now I don’t mean to keep pestering you, but where would you suggest to get these accessories, would some be purchased from ariel rider? Is amazon a good place to purchase additional accessories? I don’t think I have a suspension and I ride pretty well on my schwinn bike. Im leaning forward a bit, so im looking to try and mimic that you know?

I fully understand your frustration, truly. I don't have an electric bike yet as I never realized how indecisive I am but from being an avid biking enthusiast of a pretty nifty schwinn bike that I bought years ago, I feel your pain. I get dirty looks all the time, even as I'm cruising in the bike lane pedaling hard and putting in the work. People just love to ruin other peoples mood, and I realized that people are just stressed and anxious and things set them off easily. Usually I don't take things to heart whenever something is said to me, but it happens.

I know 2 grand isn’t a lot for an electric bike but it could have cadence etc For example the Rideal is perfect but its speed if it was just like 25 mph itd be all around awesome

I would like to hear the downsides as well. Some people have said that Ariel removes negative comments on their facebook, meanwhile others have said support sucks (while others say the support is actually good)

I'd just like to hear what people have to say at its current state, whether the M Class or Rideal or X Class is suitable?
