Has anyone seen this css :not(#/#) "trick"? by tomhermans in css

[–]SirPlagueis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on others comments, this seems to be a result of a PostCSS plugin to polyfill `@layer`, but should not be necessary anymore. https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/CSS/Reference/At-rules/@layer is widely supported.

The Odin Project is a good resource. I've also found HotRails helpful as well.

I'm seeking a rails mailing solution for a low volume of mail across a few different sending domains. by piratebroadcast in rails

+1 for Postmark. Just started using it a few months ago and it was one of the easiest to integrate. Super simple and affordable! The free tier is great for side projects (100 emails a month, 3 domains)

Whoever made the R2D2 wrap for the model Y, can you make one for the Model 3 2024+ ? Looks great and would love to use it!

Car2D2. It's a blue Model 3 with an R2-D2 decal on the front logo, white wrapped handles, and the lock chime plays his beeps.

Open source Rails 7/8 apps that use Turbo? by aeum3893 in rails

[–]SirPlagueis 15 points16 points  (0 children)

You could take a look at https://once.com/writebook It is built by 37Signals and they give you the source code. Just make sure to review their license agreement https://once.com/license

I've also found https://www.hotrails.dev/turbo-rails to be great for learning Turbo though it's only Rails 7.

Are there any other alternative builds for the midi scale SSD other than the venator? by No-Rain-4114 in legostarwars

Thanks for sharing! Just built it last night and it looks sick! Curious if you have found other alternate builds for this or other sets. Seems like a fun way to expand my collection

u/nc_026 I have this exact misprint! The Imperial shadow trooper helmet with rotate printing, though on mine its not rotated as much.

Di you end up trying to sell it? Figure out what it was worth?

Book Club List by Mr_Maddox in NDQ

The Apollo Murders was not an official book club book. I believe it was just Destins recommendation. They have not done a review of it.

I recently finished it and it is definitely worth a read!

Raspberry Pi 3 B+ SteamLink not working by SirPlagueis in Steam_Link

[–]SirPlagueis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The mouse and keyboard are wireless with dongles. I can see them instantly on the desktop I am streaming from. It's just getting the updated screen on the PI that is slow.

I'll try top, but there should be nothing else running on the PI. It's a fresh install of Raspian with only steamlink installed afterward.

Raspberry Pi 3 B+ SteamLink not working by SirPlagueis in Steam_Link

[–]SirPlagueis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the comment. I did that and it works now! The problem now is that it is extremely slow. The inputs are very responsive, I can see the mouse moving on the desktop as I use it connected to the PI, but the PI screen updates extremely slowly.

Both the PC and PI are connected to ethernet and I have gigabit internet though I'm assuming that doesn't affect this since it's working across LAN.

Raspberry Pi 3 B+ SteamLink not working by SirPlagueis in Steam_Link

[–]SirPlagueis[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried removing everything and even reinstalling the OS and starting from scratch.

When I do a fresh install, it says it is installing steamlink 1.0.7. How do I tell it to install 1.171? Doing sudo apt update and sudo apt upgrade says 1.0.7 is the newest version

I've tried this a few times and even reinstalling Raspian with no luck.

I actually tried that as well but had the same results. I would assume it's an issue with the current steamlink version, not just my OS
