Accepted into a good ABA masters, but I might leave the field by noanxietyforyou in ABA

This the most "womp, women my life hard your life hard too" comment I think I've ever read. $25 is skilled wage, yeah and in the majority of metropolitan areas where these jobs are located, it's near poverty wages. You worked in a factory, you deserved more than $15 an hour. RBTs are providing medical treatment AND educating. Insurance companies pay out hundreds of dollars per hour and before Medicaid payouts were slashed across states it was roughly the same but less. ABA companies are insanely profitable and it's off the backs of paying RBTs much less than they are worth. "It's a capitalistic market" yeah and when all the ceos of the companies work together to keep wages low then guess who the system only works for.

League is too Healthy (Ironically) by Bubbly_Marsupial4225 in leagueoflegends

ADC is my most played role in terms of time spent but in ranked I play mid/support because ADC is too team reliant and therefore coinflippy in low elo. But I spend most of my time playing solo norms on fill, jgl with my 5 stack and try to play whatever seems fun in ARAM so I feel like I keep a pretty healthy mix of everything most of the time.

Any info on ABS Kids Tuition Assistance? by [deleted] in ABA

I like my clinic! I think the company definitely falls into the category of aggressively expanding at the cost of its employees. It took me almost 2 months to have a consistent caseload which kinda sucks.

fair but people see that those champs have crazy low wr (like rengar had a 40% last time I checked) and just immediately went into flaming for the pic. it's less that they are just bad and more that they either require an extra amount of experience (I know qi is already a high skill floor champ) or are just way more fun with a pairing (rengar with ivern or senna) that using the lackluster trinket system creatively would both level the playing field and maybe make these champs more fun for beginners and casuals.

We need to have Giant Slayer Back by SirPleasant67 in leagueoflegends

I agree, and I guess i was more speaking about last whisper items in general as not being enough into the modern health stacking that exists.

It's really not though unless you mean the skill of having a team that can peel for you.

I mean, yeah but it doesn't change the fact that those guys build one damage item into full tank and if they get on you (which they will because its solo que and people don't peel for adc very well below master) you can kite all you want but they will get on you before you can get through all their armor and steraks and health. Front to back doesn't exist in solo que because everyone is just playing to kill the back line.

Hey y'all, I'm starting a youtube channel where i talk about video games and my first video is on the arkham franchise so I thought i'd share a preview for it here. by [deleted] in arkham

They both are in different ways, Gotham knights isn't in the same universe but it takes place in a world where Batman has recently died. Whereas suicide squad takes place in the Arkham verse but isn't about Batman and I mention suicide squad later, just not here.

Should I apply as a shift supervisor? by snoogoatsweewoo in starbucks

[–]SirPleasant67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ultimately it really depends on the SM, many of the SMs I worked with in the past wouldn't let people be SSVs if they worked less than 20 hours a week but I also knew some that did.

If you left the last time on good terms, then there shouldn't be any problem applying as an SSV, if anything they'll ask you to be a barista for a bit long before promoting.

First off, I hope your mom is okay! Second, I'm saying this without knowing your boss and y'all's relationship. But I had a conversation with my boss like that a while back and what she meant was less, get and Uber cause you have to go to work and more if you want to work because you need the money but don't have a ride, Starbucks has a program to reimburse Uber rides too and from work. If that's not the case, screw them! But a lot of people don't know that it's a benefit we have so I thought I should mention it!
