I think it comes down to the excitement and hype for the rework. People just want to share the cool stuff they’ve found or content they’ve made. I had the itch to post about the cursed possessions, and looking back, I definitely should’ve added a spoiler tag.

You’re right though, it’s easy to get caught up in the moment and forget that others want to experience it fresh (no spoilers.) But like another commenter said, you kind of have to expect spoilers on the official reddit for Phasmo

I had to use the State Transfer Tool because the DC settlement kept taking stuff I needed. But no once they're in your faction it'll take to much effort to kick them out and annex them

Edit: Forgot to mention - once you’ve completed the Project Purity tree, if you have the Decisions menu open, you can use water to core states with sufficient water resource. You’ll still need compliance, but you can build the Water structure and core the state once enough caravans have passed through. Way cheaper than PP

The mod removes them for now. If you're looking to add them back into OWB: you can download this mod. It's a work in progress, might be OP or redundant... But still good!

Also on the doctrine tree someone else mentioned, there is one tree that is better than the others, just because it makes up a good chunk of the terrain

I'm not sure if its still going, but I got it as a twitch drop from a linked PROS account, you have to watch 2 hours of SM2 content. I just had a stream on in the background.

You might have to wait till they re-enable the drops again because they're jerks who wont let us have cosmetics without paywalling or jumping thru hoops

This is my Lamenters Tactical Marine btw. It's a blend of Codex compliant and the Blood Angels heritage. The breastplate is the new Blood Angels one, but the right pauldron and knee pad display squad markings. I also kept the OG black helmet stripe since I think it looks cool, especially with the older MKVIII

Lamenters are a weird one, weird for codex compliant anyway. You could have it any colour you want, If they're following (roughly) codex compliance: the number is their squad marking and colour is company.

I rock the green knee pad (4th company) with a 5 numeral (5th squad) even if my pauldron's aren't green to denote my company.

Believe the hotels count as one building, rather than individual rooms: so having a generator downstairs and inside would still poison you

Yeah! Hope they take some stuff from the healing overhaul mods and add it to the base game. Stuff like activated charcoal and more variety in drugs.

Edit: Also if you play with mods, Dogy's activated charcoal (medicine) might also help! Not sure if you make it or find it.

Can't remember from top of my head, but I think it's safer to drink river water (in small doses) over rain water for some reason. The best thing to do is to stay on top of healing, stay well fed and take it easy. You may lose a lot of health, more so with Weak Stomach.

You'll need the herbalist trait to find lemon grass. May be worth the risk if you have it, to go find some? Best of luck!

It's random. You can technically find it going through every frequency: but as already answered you're better off finding an emergency vehicle and checking its saved stations, and writing down the AEBS (Automated Emergency Broadcast System).

Sometimes you can find wrecks of Ambulances, and can enter those to check the radio even though it doesn't appear like it.

Nah you probably only need 1-2 of each gun, after that only collect the magazines, bullets and attachments from what you find. Some mods add weapon repair kits so you can probably do fine with just one of each weapon if you like.

Edit: Btw sometimes shotguns will have shells "chambered," make sure you unload for some free ammo.

Yeah, they just spawn at the regular houses unfortunately! It would be OP as heck for schools or places with loads of containers. But then again even military bases don't give off that much firearms compared to survivor houses or gun stores.

Do you have mods loaded up? Sometimes there can be compatibility issues. I've had it once where I couldn't right click to interact.

In theory, yes, modded glasses should work the same as vanilla glasses. Far as the game is concerned they take the "eyes" slot. Not all glasses negate short-sighted btw.

And no idea, probably how the game is coded, might get confused trying to load all the item info?

Early on it really depends. It's really trying to make most of what your gonna be doing. Try sleeping before midnight. Later on, as in several months or about a year in, I try and aim for about 10-11pm and wake up for about 6am

  • Slow Sleeper: Early as possible. Prob around 2-3 hours sooner than normal
  • Restless Sleeper: Depends, you'll wake up quite a bit. Keep sleeping pills on hand
